Meet Vlekkie, the adorable Dachshund, and Snippie, the spunky Jack Russell - the dynamic doggie duo who stole our hearts!

These two sisters just returned from an amazing beach vacation over December, and we're thrilled they came to visit us for their 2nd vaccinations just in time!

Their beach adventures clearly exhausted them, as they snoozed together on our consultation table - talk about sisterly love!

We're so lucky to have these two cuties as part of our furry family! Can't wait to see what their next adventure brings!

Meet MA**ER, our FABULOUS Jack Russell ⭐️PATIENT OF THE WEEK!

With the fireworks season approaching, Ma**er's mother brought him in for a special consult to help him cope with the noise. Our vet prescribed some calming medication to ensure Ma**er stays relaxed and happy during the celebrations.

But what really made our day was Ma**er's superstar modeling skills! He posed for our camera like a pro, and we couldn't resist sharing these adorable photos with you all!

Thanks for being such a great sport, Ma**er! You're the paw-fect patient!

⭐️PATIENT OF THE WEEK

Meet our feathered friend of the week! This adorable chicken came to visit us with a suspected broken leg. But after taking some X-rays, we were relieved to find that it was not broken!

What really stole our hearts, though, was when our patient fell fast asleep in the arms of our amazing clinic assistant, Mxolisi, during the X-ray process!

This little chicken is more than just a pet - it's a beloved member of the family! We're so happy to have been able to help and reassure its owners.

Shoutout to Mxolisi for his gentle and caring touch!

This week instead of a patient of the week we would like to give a shout out to Mr. Rod Devletter as our OWNER OF THE WEEK!!

Mr. Rod Devletter, a devoted cat dad who's gone above and beyond to keep his feline family happy!

Mr. Devletter's first rescue, Ricky, is a total softie who loves going on morning walks in the bush with his dad. However, Ricky's brother Mini, a semi-feral cat, has a wild streak and loves to bully Ricky!

To keep the peace, Mr. Devletter built Mini his very own house – above his own! Mini now has a wonderful view and a spacious abode, complete with a human-sized bed where Mr. Devletter can snuggle up with his wild child.

We think Mr. Devletter deserves a special mention for his dedication to his furry family. He's truly a cat dad extraordinaire!

Our ⭐️ PATIENT OF THE WEEK FOR LAST WEEK WAS the sweetest girl SAVINA THE BULL TERRIER. She was quite sick after her uterus got a nasty infection and needed to be removed. From the age of 5 years, female dogs that aren't spayed and aren't regularly having puppies are predisposed to developing a uterine infection, also called pyometra. Pyometra can be a life threatening disease, leading to sepsis, kidney damage and serious complications. The best (and most affordable) treatment is prevention, and we recommend spaying your females before the age of 5 if you do not plan on breeding with them.
We're very pleased that SAVINA is feeling better, and we're going to miss her smiles and cute little waddle around the clinic. 🐶💛

C-section Friday ✨💗
Fridays are rarely calm at the clinic, and today was no different. There's nothing like an emergency C-section to keep everyone on their toes. Baby (that's mommy's name) was rushed into surgery after being in labour for a while, without any puppies being born. We're very happy that we managed to save a pup and both mom and puppy are at home recovering. It's always such a special experience helping a new life into the world.💗

Our ⭐️ STAR PATIENT OF THE WEEK this week is the ball of energy MR. MAMBA WESSELS. He was a little under the weather and had to stay with us for a little bit. He is a real clown 🤡 and just wants to be loved and play with! Thank you for making us laugh Mamba! 🤡 💙💙🤡

Our ⭐️ STAR PATIENT OF THE WEEK this week is the very debonaire Pitbull MR. DIESEL VAN DER WALT!! Diesel is very 'scary' as he will attack you with kisses and demands of tummy rubs! He came in for his castration and stole the hearts of all the ladies! He is a real charmer with a loving personality! 🥰😍🐾🐾
