We cannot do this without the support of our wonderful community members like you.

Our food stock is extremely low and we would like to plea with our community members to assist us with urgent food donations.

We desperately need wet and dry food for adult dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. We would really appreciate your support.

If we have to spend so much on food every week we will not be able to assist animals in remote places who really need our help.

We need to take care of all these animals but we can't keep up with the expenses.

We cannot do this without the support of our wonderful community members.

Thank you thank you for repairing our vehicle's gearbox, replacing the handbrake and blessing us with a new wheelcap. We travel on very rough roads and long distances to assist animals and the wear and tear on them is huge. We so appreciate your amazing assistance and support. Thank you also for towing it i .

‼️WARNING : EXTREMELY GRAPHIC‼️

This dog was removed from a snare. We don't know for how long she had been trapped there and her injuries were of such an extent that we could not believe that she was still alive. Her pain and suffering must have been unbearable.

This is why we are so strict with adoptions and fences. We know snares are a huge problem and still there are so many animals that are not being kept safely in a properly fenced property.

Please make sure that your animals are safe. Snares are extremely cruel. The animals do not only sustain these horrible injuries, but imagine the hunger and thirst and fear. No animal deserves this.

The dog was humanely euthanized. RIP precious soul🐾💔

CIRCUSES ARE FOR CLOWNS, NOT FOR ANIMALS

The SPCA strongly opposes keeping wildlife in any captive situation. Wild animals belong in the wild. They deserve to live their lives according to their nature. They deserve to be free.

The exploitation of any animals to perform in circuses is unethical and cruel. These animals spend all their lives in cages, travelling thousands of kilometres and never have the opportunity to feel what it would be like to live in the wild along with others of their species. Their lives have been stolen from them. They spend every day in a prison without committing any crime. We are also gravely concerned about the training methods. In many cases they are being beaten and unacceptable methods of restraint are used to force them to obey.

Please do not support a circus. Your hour of fun means a lifetime of suffering for these animals. By taking your children to a circus you teach them nothing positive. You teach them that it is acceptable to disrespect and exploit animals. Animals are living, sentient beings and must be treated as such.

Please do not be part of this. Because if you are, you actively support cruelty to animals.

The learners also had the opportunity to have an educational talk by our Inspector, Michelle where they can ask any questions they have.
