The Green Mamba (Dendroaspis angusticeps) occurs along coastal KwaZulu-Natal from southern KwaZulu-Natal northwards and into Mozambique, extending further northwards.

Despite popular belief, this venomous snake is not found in eSwatini, the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Limpopo, or Northwest Province. It inhabits thick coastal forest quite close to the sea (within 50 km), requires a sub-tropical environment with very high humidity and will certainly not survive in bushveld.

It is a highly venomous snake that rarely bites and fatalities are extremely rare. Unlike Black Mamba venom, the venom of this snake rarely results in rapid progressive weakness with severe difficulty in breathing and victims often have a fair amount of swelling. On a LD50 test (on laboratory mice) the venom of the Green Mamba is about a tenth the strength of that of the Black Mamba.

So we have some exiting news. After long nights of thinking we decided to register Jumanji Reptiles. So from now on we won't just breed these amazing creatures but also have the necessary equipment that you would need to make them part of the family and let them fit in.
