We wish everyone a safe and prosperous 2025! We trust there will be enough time in nature to explore, discover, connect and protect our rich natural history.

2024 was our busiest year on record. Working as a "team of teams", our volunteers from our five teams joined hands with many other state, private and volunteer organisations to complete more than 270 searches, rescues and recoveries. This included many complex and technically challenging mountain rescue operations, many lives saved but sadly, some tragic outcomes and a couple of extraordinary escapes from the clutches of death.

Make it your mission this year to be safe and responsible in the mountains!
