The long weekend has been full of my favorite thing - TTOUCH !
On Friday we introduced this great work to 15 enthusiastic dog people and yesterday started an online level 1 TTOUCH for Dogs course . Onwards and upwards !

Using stretchy elastic bandages in a variety of configurations, TTouch Body Wraps have been used successfully on many different species with some amazing results.

Unlike many commercial products that have been inspired by these simple wraps, TTouch Body wraps do not create compression and are not restrictive. The beauty is that they allow the nervous system to identify imbalance and tension patterns which can then be released without conscious effort.

I’ve had such fun teaching/mentoring the TTOUCH level 1 students the last 6 weeks . What a great group of people from different parts of the world . I was really lucky with great assistance and had some fabulous guest speakers who made such a difference to people’s understanding of the work .

I have had the privilege of leading 13 students through the amazing online TTOUCH for dogs course over the last 2 months.. It's been such a pleasure - Sunday is our last meeting , just some practicals to go when we can meet again..The students have done so well .. thank you all.

I'm planning to go to Cape Town end of June to share the joys of bee-line and the sliding handle work with the TTOUCH community . What a great couple of weeks we've had with Robyn Hood !

Working with the horses in my yard was a special bonus for me and them during the TTOUCH for Horses training. Being the 'dummy' rider - was also great as I got to try new things and experiment under supervision !

The TTOUCH for Companion Animals training was also great. Working with so many different dogs and really experiencing the advantages of the bee-line and the sliding handle was a fantastic experience for many attendees as well as the dogs !

I'm starting to plan more trainings for during the year - so if any of you are keen, send me a message and we can see what we can organize

DID YOU KNOW?

This is why it is so essential to NOT shave a horse's whiskers off - they rely on the tactile use of their whiskers to "see" in the dark or in enclosed spaces, as well as directly underneath them.

We are currently busy with Companion Animal training with Robyn Hood at the wonderful daycare facility Fluffs 'n Tufts owned and run by Niki Elliot. It's perfect as we can work with many different dogs and the dogs get to do something interesting , and the people can focus on the teaching when not working with the dogs ...
Seeing so many positive experiences happening for the dogs - what joy !

The New Year has started and we're getting busy with planning the next set of TTOUCH training . On the 10th - 14th March we'll be doing a training for horses - with an emphasis on riding . I'm really looking forward to that as it'll be a great way for people to get tools to help themselves as well as their horses have a better riding experience.
