We are just a good old fashioned family get-away in Magaliesburg - We have the following to offer:
The Cottage Callum.
The cottage callum is self catering has a full bathroom and kitchen.
There is a normal fridge / freezer, 2 plate gas stove, kettle toaster, basic crockery, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils.
Please bring own towels and toiletries.
There is a double bed with bedding as well as a lounge area with cozy little fireplace.
There is a table and chairs on the patio as well as a braai and spot to make a nice campfire.
The Chalet Kingfisher.
The chalet Kingfisher is self catering has a bathroom and kitchen.
Please bring own towels and toiletries.
There are 2 bedrooms furnished with double beds with bedding.
There is a nice lounge area with cozy fireplace.
On the patio there is a large table and 6 chairs as well as a braai and spot to make a nice campfire.
The chalet is situated close to the banks of dam no 2.
The Giant Heron Chalet.
There is a natural rock splash pool in front of the Giant Heron Chalet for you private use.
There is also a large lappa next to the chalet with a large bar counter with bar stools to do your entertaining.
The Giant Heron Chalet has a self catering kitchen with a large fridge / freezer, 2 plate gas stove, kettle, toaster, basic crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
There is a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin.
Please bring own towels and toiletries.
There are 2 bedrooms furnished with double beds with bedding.
There is a lounge area with fireplace as well as a double sleeper couch with bedding.
On the large patio there are 2 tables and 6 chairs.
There is a large braai and a spot to make a nice campfire.
We have 2 Fishermans Cabins:
Please note these cabins are nothing fancy, very basic, wendy style huts.
The fishermans cabin has a double bed with bedding.
Please bring own towels and toiletries.
There is a small kitchenette with gas bottle with cooker plate, kettle, very basic cooking utensils, very basic crockery and cutlery as well as a cooler box with free ice when needed to keep things cold.
There is a wash up area at the cabin for dishes, cold water.
There is a table and chairs on the deck as well as a braai and spot to make a nice campfire.
The fishermans cabin shares bathrooms with the other fishermans cabin.
The bathrooms are tidy and clean and both ladies and gents sides have full bathrooms ( bath, toilet and hand basin in one cubicle ) as well as 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 hand basins on both sides.
There are also wash up areas behind the ablutions for washing dishes etc hot and cold water.
We have 50 camp sites on the water's edge and 4 well stocked dams Blue and Red Kurper, Carp, Yellow Fish, Barbel and importantly large mouth Bass).
There are 4 dams and we have lovely walking trails along dams and river.
The dams are stocked with bass, carp, blue kurper, yellow fish and barbel.
Please note our main dam is empty due to bad rainfall, the 3 smaller dams are very low at the moment.
Please note we are mainly a bass fishing facility, however we do stock all the other fish species.
Specimen carp fishing cannot be done here at the moment only conventional fishing, bass fishing and fly fishing..
There are also rowing boats available if you wish to go rowing.
We also have firewood available if you should need.
