It is long weekend and we have run out of grass for our horses and donkeys!!!

Our supplier that would have delivered this morning just after 08:00 is now not taking our calls or replying to our WhatsApp messages. We use 1 round bale per day - anyone that is able to help PLEASE? Unfortunately it will have to be delivered, because we do not have a bakkie/truck/trailer for collection 😞

Our 2025 diary sales is not great this year. Today is the last day to order. Some of your might wonder about the design. I decided on this design 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑵𝒊𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒂 - she was my "colour" in a world that often seemed "grey" when it comes to animals (the cruelty, the neglect, the ones we couldn't save) - she was and will always be the light of my life 🖤

I am sure all of you have someone or something that brings colour to your grey days 🌻

Vicky's foster mom is moving and cannot keep her any longer. Placing her in the kennels will to be fair on her, she was rescued from the street, went for surgery and into a foster home to make a recovery. Since her rescue she has only known love, a warm bed and cuddles 🌻🖤

She is a gorgeous, 7 year old Fox Terrier. She doesn't mind other dogs, but she would also not mind being and only dog. She doesn't seem to mind cats either 😁 She really is a very sweet girl that migth be a bit shy at first, but soon wants love and cuddles 🐾

Adoption fee of R950 includes sterilization, vaccs up-to-date and microchip. Although we are based in Krugersdorp, we do rehome out of the area. Should it be outside of Gauteng, transportation will have to be paid by the new family 🌻

On the 1st of November 2024 a family was evicted from their home. They had 6 dogs that were sitting with them on the pavement along with all their belongings 😦
A few rescue centres did offer to help with the dogs, but all of them insisted that the family surrender them 😦

The dogs are all in good condition and one could see that they were very much loved by their family. We offered to take the dogs in while the family focus on getting a place to stay. Of the 6 dogs, 5 aren't sterilized. We need to get them sterilized and also get them all vaccinated. The family can afford to look after the dogs, they just cannot afford the sterilization - so please before you want to give unnessary opinions think twice. There are always outreach across South Africa being done for people that cannot afford sterilization.

This action will help us raise funds towards the sterilizations and vaccinations. Steries @ R950 each and vaccs @ R270 each, gives us a total of R6 370 😬
