When we walk with the rhythm of the Spirit, satan cannot control the mind, but when distracting thoughts take over in the mind, we are to know that our focus is in the wrong place and need to take captive our thoughts unto the obedience to Christ. God will always reward us for our obedience (faith) at the altar.

Satan has the power to keep on distracting us from the altar, but our consistency frees us from satans evil doings to corrupt the soul, but the moment our focus is on Christ he looses his power
