We are excited to have partnered with YapScan a super new App that is used to identify your doggies with a simple scan of the dog’s nose.

The YapScan AI technology is Free to all and provides dog owners with an extra layer of protection. Our team at the Mtunzini, Mandini and Eshowe Animal Hospital will be using the App to identify any lost dogs that are brought to us and if you have added your dog to YapScan and your dog does not have a microchip, we be able to reunite you with your fur baby quicker. NOT ONLY IS IT FREE but we are aiming to protect 1 million dogs in South Africa and at the same time raise R1 million for the SPCA. For each doggy added YapScan will donate R1. Supports us and protect your doggies. Simple use the links below to access the App stores, download YapScan and add your dogs for free.

The Mtunzini Vet wants make a difference for feral cats in need! Every bag of food raised goes directly towards these often-overlooked animals. All donations will be sent to Project Feral Cats, a nonprofit dedicated to feeding, sheltering, and neutering feral cats in our community. ❇️❇️THE GINTY'S WILDLIFE FUND?
Run by the Mtunzini/Eshowe/Mandini vet practices. This fund is vital to assisting the vets with treating wildlife for free and also supporting local rehabbers, entrusted by the practice, to house and treat while an animal is recovering.
Rehabbers collaborate closely and are guided by the vets to ensure an animal has the best chance for recovery. This means that wildlife brought into the practices can be supported by this account. It also allows residents to drop off injured/ill wildlife at the vet practice. We use the account for specialized feeding as well.
