32, that was the number of sterilisations that took place out at HuskyRomi Wolf Sanctuary, a massive thank you too Stella of Woodrock Animal Rescue, she put her team headed by Marizda Kruger Steffens who contacted, introduced herself, I needed to come up with a date and that was it.
All I had too do was to organize accommodation for three people and provide a venue too perform the operations, Neels Craven from Poelanie's Gastehuis Huis in Reitz, possibly the nicest venue in the region, offered to host the team plus supper at Ia Chocolat. I was a little concerned about our rondavel, when the Woodrock team arrived Eddie and Jordan turned our place into one of the best surgeries in the area.
The vet Bronwyn was the nicest person to work with.
Everything went off very smoothly and 32 animals (two days) later, it still wasn't finished, the team still checked on the animals and Marizda still called too check up on the animals.
I was very impressed with the whole, another example of why Woodrock are the best rescues in the country, where lives really do matter.
