Feeding Guide on Cooked Frozen Meals

Should you have doubts regarding the quantity of food to serve, consult our feeding guide for the advised serving sizes. These guidelines are tailored specifically for our Cooked Frozen meals to ensure a complete and balanced diet, without the inclusion of any additional unhealthy foods. While the recommended servings are based on general estimates, variations may occur in your pet's needs due to factors such as metabolism, body type, breed, activity level, and age.

Just remove the necessary amount, warm it up, and it's prepared to serve. Make sure to keep the packet frozen after opening.

Feeding Guide
Tiny dog, 0-5kg, suggest: 50-150g per day
Small dog, 5-10kg, suggest: 150-300g per day
Medium dog, 10-20kg, suggest 300-650g per day
Large dog, 20-50kg, suggest 650g-1.3kg per day

We have received a lot of questions regarding our cooked frozen meals for dogs.
1 - The meats we use are of human-grade quality and are meticulously sourced from top-tier butchers in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
2 - Our recipes do not contain "pet mince," so we avoid using ingredients such as dirty tripe, chicken carcasses, heads, and feet.
3 - Each recipe is accompanied by a nutrition report, and we cater to dogs with specific dietary needs.

We have made the decision to extend our R67 Adult Cat & Dog Adoption Fee until Saturday the 3rd August to help get more deserving (they all are😍) adults into homes! 🙏🏼💜

We’ve only homed a handful of adults and NEED to home more if we are going to make a dent in the adult dog & cat population in our care 🥺

Our adult adoption rate is way too low, in fact, pretty much non existent 💔 Yes our adults have full tummies, fresh water, a kennel, a blanket, so much love from our staff, weekly enrichment, etc BUT IT IS NOT A HOME! Some have never known a home at all, others have only known cruelty and the disgusting humans behind their pain and others knowing a warm and loving home only to have been let down when being returned to the shelter at no fault of their own😢 We need you and most importantly, they need you to open your hearts and homes 🥺🙏🏼

We have reduced our adoption fee to literally nothing to possibly home some (All would be so amazing😭) of our adults. Our policies and standards are not changing though and this is to ensure that they still end up in the best possible environments and homes they possibly can and just as they deserve 🏡

If your home and heart are open to an adult, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just get in touch and see if we have a good fit for your home and family 🏡 We are all about finding the perfect match for the floofy, and for yourselves! 🫶🏼

**REMINDER** All our adults are already sterilized, vaccinations completed, tick/flea & dewormer a microchip and the FeLV/FIV test has already been done for all cats.

Introducing our Greyston’s Range: Chicken

Ideal range for growing pups, as chicken liver contributes greatly to healthy muscle and tissue
growth. Even though puppies more often than not love to gobble tasty food, the risk of developing
diabetes is reduced, as chicken liver contains no sugars.
Chicken livers contain higher amount of selenium and iron than beef liver, and roughly four more
grams of protein per 28 grams. Once ingested, selenium converts into an antioxidant with anti-
cancerous properties. It's also a great source of zinc, copper (to aid in preventing anemia), and
vitamin B-complex. The Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids are responsible for your dog’s silky, smooth coat,
while the vitamin A is great for eye health.
Add the fiber and healthy complex carbohydrates in the form of cooked carrots and potatoes, and
you have a happy, healthy, growing pup.

Ideal range for Diabetic Dogs, Weight management, Dogs with allergies, Dogs with EPI (Exocrine
Pancreatic Insufficiency) and picky eaters with digestive disturbances.
Due to Ostrich meat having lower calories, cholesterol and fat content without losing the iron,
proteins and vitamin B complex, it is the ideal meat source in this health range. Besides promoting
lean muscle growth, aiding in cellular functions and supporting the immune system, it is also easier
to digest. More of the product is absorbed; consequently, less and smaller p**p.
Ostrich meat has a rare protein source which is hypoallergenic, making it the ideal protein to use in
food for allergy prone animals without compromising nutritional value or taste.
Carrots and potatoes contain fiber and are a healthy complex carbohydrate. The ADA (American
Diabetes Association) approves of these starchy vegetables as part of a healthy diet, if cooked
