Dear Pretty Paws Clients,

As the holiday season approaches, we want to let you know that Pretty Paws Grooming Parlour will be closed from 21 December to 08 January. During this time, we’ll be focusing on much-needed rest and relaxation. 🌟💆‍♀️

We kindly ask for your understanding as we will not be responding to any grooming-related queries during this period. Starting 09 and 10 January, we’ll be catching up on all your messages, so please bear with us as we get back to everyone.

🐾 Important Reminder: We are fully booked until 15 January. If you haven’t already secured a booking, we encourage you to plan ahead for future appointments.

🐾 What a WOOF-tastic day we had! 🐾

The Pretty Paws team traded grooming brushes for wine glasses at our year-end function at the beautiful Perdeberg Cellar! 🍷🎉

We feasted on drool-worthy dishes (yes, even us humans drooled a little):
🍴 Lamb croquettes to start,
🍴 Crispy pork belly as the main event,
🍴 And a dessert so good we might’ve licked the plates (don’t tell!).

Here’s to an incredible team, a gorgeous venue, and an unforgettable day. 2024 was pawsome, but we’re ready to fetch even more success in 2025! 🐕✨

What an incredible day we had celebrating the season with our fur babies! From wagging tails to playful barks, it was all joy and excitement as our furry friends enjoyed a festive day filled with love and fun.

A huge thank you to Jualet Wellsted for putting so much thought and effort into making this event so special. Your creativity and passion truly shine through in every detail! 🌟

We also want to give a big shout-out to Denise Fourie and Leliefontein Boarding Kennels for their amazing venue. The safe, open play area was the perfect spot for our fur babies to let loose and enjoy themselves. 🐶❤️

Chief Happiness Officer, Pretty Paws Grooming Parlour

Hello, my fluff-tastic friends! Coco here, your Chief Happiness Officer, ready to bring you another round of juicy updates and hilarious tails (pun absolutely intended) from the Pretty Paws crew. Let me just say—it’s been a wild ride this year, thanks to my two interesting siblings, Raven and Dante.

First, let’s talk about Raven. She joined our pack last year and is...how do I put this delicately...a bundle of pure, unfiltered energy. She graduated from puppy school, but honestly, I’m not sure if any of it actually made it past her floppy ears. Raven’s in her own world most of the time, on a mission only she understands. Meanwhile, our Executive Assistant is pulling her hair out trying to keep Raven from creating too much chaos. If you ask me, sedating her once a week sounds like a solid plan—but apparently, that’s “not allowed.”

And then, just when we thought things couldn’t get crazier, along came Dante a few months ago. Now, Dante is the polar opposite of Raven. He’s basically a furry little Einstein. He watches our Head of Security, Vin Diesel (the Rottie legend), like a hawk and learns faster than you can say “good boy.” But—and it’s a big but—Dante thinks everything is food. Toys, shoes, sticks, you name it, he tries to eat it. Imagine our shock when he actually swallowed a toy. Yep, the whole thing.

So now, playtime at our house looks like this: Raven zooming around like a tornado, Dante inspecting every object for “edibility,” and Mom playing Toy Patrol to make sure nothing else ends up in Dante’s belly. Honestly, it’s a sitcom waiting to happen, and I’m the wise, slightly exasperated Shih Tzu observing it all from my throne (aka the couch).

Despite their quirks, I wouldn’t trade Raven and Dante for anything. They’re lovable in their own chaotic ways, and they keep life exciting. But I am counting down the days to our Pretty Paws Christmas Party at Leliefontein Boarding Kennels. Treats, toys, and no worries about swallowed decorations—it’s the perfect way to end the year!

Here’s to keeping tails wagging, toys intact, and our Executive Assistant sane.
