Our Story

Grace Rock Equestrian – situated only 4 km from Paarl CBD and 2.5 km from the N1 on the R301 route to Franschhoek – offers quite a bit more than just the standard livery yard. The complex - housing the spacious indoor arena, stables and conference facilities - nestles in the foot hills of the picturesque Paarl-Franschhoek mountains and offers breathtaking views of the Paarl Valley. Over and above the five-star livery stables – and use of the facilities including the indoor- and outdoor arenas and lunging ring – offered to horse owners as members, the conference facilities are available for seminars, business brunches and presentations as well as various team building activities. Well-known instructors also offer clinics on various levels of equestrian training on a regular basis as well as individual rider tuition. Grace Rock Equestrian is closely involved in various community projects and offers educational outings for all levels of the community, for kids and adults, in the diverse biosphere of the area as part of the awareness process of the importance of environmental conservation. During school holidays a series of programs are offered where kids are exposed to the special relationship between horse and mankind and also learn the basics of horsemanship. Various horse trails also offer adventurous visitors the opportunity to explore the environment on horseback in the company of a qualified guide.
