A young hen has gifted us a beautiful brown speckled mossy green coloured egg. When placed next to a white egg, a camera will give the truest reflection of how the egg looks in person. When placed next to a brown egg, it actually looks blue! Now to find out who laid it 🤭

With the end of 2021 on the horizon we would just like to say thank you to all our friends, family and followers for your support. Chicken farming is not easy, and certainly this year we were tested again and again. Through all the ups and downs we have learned the hardest and most important lesson.

Perseverence.

Next year we hope we will get to share with you all some more beautiful birds, chicks and eggs, with our breeding program just about set up for !

A total of 17 chicks all safe in their new home and under their Kristin-designed fake mother hen heating pad (safer than a heat lamp) ♥ our first incubator hatch is a success!
