Save A Reptile is a non-profit company dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating exotic reptiles in need. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for these often-misunderstood species. Our organization was founded by a group of passionate reptile enthusiasts who recognized the need for a reptile-specific rescue organization in our area. We have a small team of experienced staff w

ho provide expert care and rehabilitation for exotic reptiles including snakes and lizards. In addition to our rescue and rehabilitation efforts, we are committed to educating the public about the importance of responsible pet ownership and the specific needs and behaviour of exotic reptiles. We hope to soon offer educational programs and resources to schools, community organizations, and pet owners while we continue to promote awareness, understanding and compassion for these fascinating animals to the general public. We are seeking support from donors and partners who share our commitment to the well-being of exotic reptiles. Thank you to the lady who called Arnold to collect the iguana that was on the loose in westering in Port Elizabeth..shame he was on the loose for a whole year.. shame hope he wasn't put down. .the poor guy has had a very terrible history..

Intelligence driven operations led by Operation Vala Umgodi members resulted in the arrest of three suspects on Tuesday, 16 April 2024 in Galeshewe for the possession of drugs.

At the first suspected drug outlet, crystal m**h (Tik) and mandrax tablets were found concealed in the heels of women's shoes and one man (35) was arrested. At the second identified location two suspects were arrested with mandrax tablets in their possession.

Please be on a look out for a alien invasive species.. been told that there is sub adult green iguana running around the area that had escaped. MEET OUR RESCUES: This is Archie, our 9year old corn snake. He has been with us for about 6 months. Archie's previous owner also kindly sponsors his food, which we are so grateful for!! Archie will remain with us forever, here at Save A Reptile.

Meet one of our rescues, Andy the yellow anaconda, in his enclosure kindly donated by https://www.facebook.com/donnalee.mclachlan?mibextid=ZbWKwL With this beautiful display unit, we were able to transform into a species specific environment, where he can spend most of the time in the water, just like he would do in the wild. Andy's favorite thing to do is to smell the plants.
