Thanks to everyone who has supported The Wash Dog over the last 2 and a half years. It's truly been a blessing being part of your doggies lives.
The Wash Dog is closed from Monday, 28th November 2022.

I will begin my new journey back in the corporate world as from Thursday, 1 December 2022

Just 2 boys enjoying their monthly wash. Elvis (Ellie) the Golden Retriever and Sheriff (aka Sir Kiss-alot). These boys are so much fun to pamper because the entire time it's lots of hugs, kisses and high energy greetings!!! So well behaved 🤗🥰

Sheego (Husky x Lab) is one of my more mature clients who can't stand for long periods of time, so we come up with alternative ways of getting through her groom thats most comfortable for her. Here she is with her new adopted brother Zorro enjoying their time in the sun after a wash and blowdry.

While packing up to go to my next client, Zorro ended up making himself comfortable in the bakkie 🤗💕

My one and only Bull Terrier client, Sasha. This breed has a bad reputation for sure but Sasha is a product of lots of love at home and as a result is a gentle, laid back girl that loves her monthly Wash Dog pamper 💕

We are looking for an Adoption Specialist Assistant to join the AWS PE Team.

The Adoption Specialist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Adoption Specialist with all adoptions; working with the cats and dogs in our care, ensuring quality customer service, and looking after the health and wellbeing of the animals at the shelter. The ideal person for this job must have a deep affection for animals and concern for their welfare, be personable, outgoing, patient, professional, and able to get along well with a variety of people. Knowledge of animal behaviour and common medical conditions in animals is an advantage. The ability to remain pleasant and calm even in stressful situations is essential and the ability to work in an extremely highly charged and emotional setting is vital. "MAY 2022 DONATIONS FOR ANIMAL WELFARE"

Call me to collect on 076 528 0983. There has to be alot more donations (blankets, towels, jerseys, leads, collars, food, pet baskets) from the people of PE. Your unwanted goodies could make an animal very happy during these winter months.

Meet Ragnar who is a Husky and has been at the shelter for 4 months now. He will suit an active person. I spent a bit of time with him today at the shelter and what a friendly, happy guy he is. Ragnar loves affection and is very gentle. Speak to Catherine at Animal Welfare (041 366 1660) for more details on his back story and adoption process.

Winter is on its way and some days here. If you have any old blankets, doggie beds, towels etc please let me know and I will collect when I'm in your area. I would like to donate these items to Animal Welfare and or families with pets in need.
