We wish to extend a massive THANK YOU to Dark Water Ops (DWO) for so generously stepping in to assist us with collecting and delivering our load of feral cat food.

The very first call offering help came from Mr. Marais Lombard, General Manager at DWO. Within minutes, everything was arranged – and thanks to this swift action, the food was safely delivered. Both our dedicated feeders and our beloved ferals are deeply grateful! 🐾💙

Kitten season has arrived, and sadly, we are extremely short of foster moms. Without foster homes, we cannot help the many tiny kittens that desperately need care and safety. 💔

Here’s why fostering is so important (and rewarding!):
🐱 You save lives – many kittens can’t survive in shelters without foster care.
🍼 It’s short-term, but life-changing – most kittens need only a few weeks of care.
💞 You help them thrive – with your love, they become social, happy, and adoptable.

🚨 Right now, we simply cannot take in more kittens until we find new foster homes. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the time!

🌿 Meet Ryan – Wild at Heart, Softening by the Day 🌿

Ryan is a whisper of the wild wrapped in tabby stripes. This semi-feral kitten has spent his early days learning to trust from the shadows—watching, listening, and slowly inching closer to the warmth of human kindness. He is not quite ready for cuddles, but He is curious. His eyes follow you with quiet intelligence, and his tiny paws have begun to tread the path from fear to friendship.

He is a work in progress—and that’s the beauty of his story. With patience, gentle routines, and a safe space to bloom, Ryan is already showing signs of transformation. A blink of trust here, a soft purr there. He is learning that hands can offer treats, not threats, and that love doesn’t always rush—it waits.

Ryan would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that the most meaningful bonds are built slowly. He not a lap cat (yet), but He is a soul worth knowing. Give him time, and He will give you her heart. And yes he can be with other cats.

We’re gearing up for a critical spayathon on 13 September 2025, and we urgently need your support to sterilise four large cat colonies — each with 10 to 15 cats. Without action, these colonies will continue to grow, and the problem will only get worse. 💔

🐾 Sterilisation is the only humane solution to stop the cycle and give these cats a healthier, safer life.
But we’re still well short of the funds needed to reach our target number of steris for the day.
