We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting a Mini Fete on 5th April 2025 at Lorraine Vet! Bring your friends and family for a day full of delicious treats and support a great cause—helping our beloved cats!

🏡 Kitten Fosters: Provide a temporary, loving home for kittens until they’re ready for adoption. Your care can help them grow healthy and social!

🍲 Feral Feeders: Help us support feral colonies by providing regular meals. A little time makes a big difference in their lives.

🚗 Fieldworkers: Assist with trapping, transporting, and ensuring cats get the care they need—from vet visits to safe releases.

🐾 What is TNR and Why Does It Matter? 🐾

If you see cats living outdoors, the best way to help them is through TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return)! 😺✨

What is TNR?
TNR is a humane and effective method for managing feral cat populations. It involves:
✔️ Trapping the cats safely.
✔️ Neutering or spaying to prevent more kittens.
✔️ Returning them to their outdoor home where they thrive.

Why is TNR important?
🐾 Stops overpopulation – No more endless litters.
🐾 Reduces nuisance behaviors – Less fighting, yowling, and spraying.
🐾 Keeps cats healthier – Lower risk of disease and starvation.
🐾 Saves lives – Instead of being removed or euthanized, feral cats get to live safely in their territory.

Simply removing cats doesn’t work—new ones will move in (the vacuum effect). TNR is the only proven, humane solution!

We are dedicated to providing the best care for our rescues, ensuring they receive proper sterilization, medical treatment, and quality nutrition before finding their forever homes. Due to rising costs in these essential areas, we unfortunately have no choice but to adjust our adoption fee for kittens to R825, effective 1 March.

This change helps us continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming kittens in need. We appreciate your ongoing support and understanding—every adoption fee goes directly toward giving these little ones a second chance at a happy, healthy life!
