My introduction to the science of animal behaviour started many years ago, when I had a problem with one of my Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Earl who I had adopted at the age of 22 months, and who was showing aggression towards people. I studied informally for several years, collecting books and articles - mostly from resources that I would never consider looking at now that I know a little more. M

y formal studies started through the Ethology Academy in 2005, where I graduated at an advanced level with distinction. Several years later, I attended 6 six day TTouch Trainings over a period of 3 years and earned my TTouch Practitioner I status. Knowing and understanding my own philosophy towards behaviour and training has opened up a whole new world for me, in that I now know which authors and trainers I share this philosophy with thus ensuring that i dont waste my time studying material that does not serve me or the dogs i work with. I studied through COAPE for one year, and even though I did not complete my Diploma, what I learned through them has proved to be enormously enlightening and has enabled me to help clients and client dogs more effectively. This field thrills me, as one never stops learning, and I am very much looking forward to the journey ahead.
