𝙆𝙚𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚:
• Creating and managing a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio.
• Maintaining relationships with current donors and sourcing new donors to grow the existing supporter base and create consistent income.
• Identifying and pursuing sustainable sources of income.
Requirements:
• A passion for animals.
• Knowledge and experience of the fundraising & marketing environment.
• Ability to work independently against performance targets.
• An enthusiastic, pro-active person who works well independently and knows how to follow through with ideas.
• Good project management and people skills – team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills – design experience advantageous but not a requirement
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Own laptop and good internet connection.
• Reporting to: ExCo and Fundraising Portfolio holder specifically.

A minimum of 4-5 hours per day is required from Monday to Friday. With additional time over weekends as required with larger events.

𝙅𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙮'𝙨 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 ~ the textbook case of pure neglect and a complete lack of connection to one of the purest creatures on earth….. 𝙅𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙮 ’s journey is one of absolute heartbreak and one which we cannot even begin to imagine. Starved down to within an inch of her life, severely neglected, bred, battered and totally defeated, this girl’s days were numbered! Her saving grace: a loving member of the public taking action to bring her to the shelter. It was a shock to see a giant breed dog, stripped down to skin and bone, a mere shell of the glorious dog she should have been. Her empty eyes, wondering what suffering lies ahead at the hands of humans who have only previously brought her pain and suffering! Jinty had a piece of rubber tightly bound around her neck, a clear indication that she was tied up and her body showing signs of having had litters of pups too. Suffering is all this girl has ever known but we are determined to show her that not all humans are bad and for her to experience what life is like as a loved and treasured family member. Jinty has come a long way since she arrived at the shelter early January with a loads of TLC, hearty & healthy Hills food and warmth already having made a difference. But the road to recovery will be long and we are seeking a patient hero to step in and help mend this heart and give her the life she so richly deserves. Can you help us find Jinty a home where she will never, ever be hungry, cold or scared again?

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠, 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩?
Have you ever wondered what happens when beloved family pets are left behind at the shelter? The initial excitement of an outing with their owner, the uncertainty of being in a strange place with an unsettling feeling, confusion as their owner leaves without them, the long days and nights wondering when their owner will come back, the endless searching and waiting for a day that won’t come….

This is the heartbreaking reality for 𝙋𝙞𝙭𝙚𝙡 & 𝙃𝙪𝙭𝙡𝙚𝙮 who were surrendered as their owners are leaving the country and cannot take them along. It’s a double-edged sword and we do understand that it’s not always possible to move abroad with pets and our hearts break for all involved. BUT we can move forward by trying our best to find this sweet little pair a new family and a fresh start! Could you help us bring happiness back into their little lives? We would love for them to look out onto our parking lot area one last time as they drive off with their new family!
