Do you check your horse's stool? 💩🐎

Regularly checking your horses stool can be a good way to detect problems early. Things to look out for include a change in consistency, amount, colour, mucous and foreign objects.

It isn't always possible to see worms with the naked eye, so make sure you pop your vet a stool sample regularly for testing. This will also allow you to deworm appropriately.

We would like to make a special mention for the families who have lost their loved ones this week. ❤️ Heaven gained some super special souls and they will be missed dearly. Rest in Peace. 😇

Update: Miss Daisy Dr Kathleen Davis managed to find Miss Daisy happily eating along Buffelsfontein road with her herd. She is fat, flourishing, free of ticks and walking sound! There is a small scar but the wound has healed beautifully! Thank you everyone for your support and a special thank you to Vasti Barkhuizen for contributing towards the costs.

Can anyone name this organism? And yes it was still alive and taken from an animal today. 😖 #itchy
