Hi everyone, we trust everyone's doing well. After some crazy days and tons of rescues we have now decided that it may be best to call off our Pet Portrait due to the lack of interest. While the rescue has been absolutely crazy busy, rescues just can't stop coming in. Our current rescue cases are, five gorgeous bunnies who are being locked up in a tiny parrot cage all day and all night with minimal to no shade at all, genders are all unknown as of yet but within the next week or two we should have them in our care. We are seeking help on all five as we have just made enough donations for Tulip our other rescue however we have no idea what genders we are working with and no idea regarding their vaccinations. However if we get everyone neutered / spayed at once then we may get some discount (+- R400 a bunny) we also are needing tons of supplies for them and we are also seeking a puppy play pen for their quarantine time however we need it to be fairly large so please make contact with us if you know of some available. We are still seeking a forever home for our bonded pair of female Guinea pigs whom go by the name Coconut and Hazel. They are a bonded pair so will have to go together, please keep in mind that courier will be available at adopters expenses. They do have a slight adoption fee just to cover their basic needs, their ideal family would be someone willing to take the time and patience to get to know their unique personality's and to allow them to free roam as much as possible. We also have a rescue for yet another rabbit at the end of September as his parents are moving and can no longer care for him unfortunately. He is a free roaming bun which means we will need to get him neutered aswell (another R400 +-) although he is litter trained and has a great personality. His ideal family would be someone preferably at home almost all day or another little rabbit to keep him company. I'm sure he would also like to Snuggle up in your blankets and give you cuddles. His little face has a lot to say and with the cutest of attitudes aswell. We then got a very urgent call yesterday from a gentleman who had an unfortunate case from a pet store. He intended on buying two female ratties however they ended up being a male and a female. Apon further inspection he ended up with 15 babies, he unfortunately had no time to split everyone up based on their gender and now many females are ready to have their babies. Thankfully they are now separated and we are expecting a good 50 to 70 babies shortly. This will be a huge huge challenge for us to take on as we already are full however we will be seeking homes before any babies come to us. Adoption fees do apply and courier is available at adopters expenses. They are currently in Gauteng however will be on their way to Port Elizabeth ASAP.
We have listed our available products below in hopes to get some items sold in order to raise funds for all the new arrivals, profits of these sales go straight back into the rescue. We have also included photos of our wishlists for new arrivals, we ask if you have any time available to take that time and have a look at your Little Paws wants and needs and hopefully you can order from us. We have had many happy paws receive our products. Please do keep in mind that we do courier either via Pudo or The Courier Guy. Courier is available at buyers expense🐭.
