Yesterday, our Inspector Bev was part of the Community Imbizo Schauderville.
Schauderville is a community with high levels of gangsterism, crime and violence on humans. It is not surprising therefore that animal cruelty, neglect, illegal breeding and dog fighting is also rife here.
ABUSE LEAD TO ABUSE. Violence inflicted on animals, lead to violence inflicted on humans. Animals have no voice and also need protection.
We work with these law enforcement departments towards a caring, peaceful community, for humans and animals.
Our mission is to end the suffering of all animals, not only those we regard as household pets.
Thank you to the community who alerted us to this poor diseased animal, found lying in Algoa Park, which we humanely euthanized.
Our Inspector Yogi has a good working relationship with the Missionvale livestock owners and therefore he could immediately alert the owner of the cow. Samples were taken for further testing to determine the cause.
⚠️ Warning : Video contains an overload of cuteness 😍
We introduce this homeless cutie pie, a female tortoise shell kitten of approximately 8 weeks old.
She would love to have a family of her own. Please contact us if you would like to meet and adopt her. Our adoption fee is R700, which includes sterilization when she is old enough and the first vaccination.
Alternatively, we will also be grateful for an interim foster home.
We can be contacted on 041 4561776. We are also on whatsapp. 🐱
Please share far and wide. 😍

It is raining again. 🌧 🥹
Please provide shelter for all animals.
No animal must be chained.
All lives matter and there is no need to harm or kill anything. 🐍
Our Inspector Clayton and King took this snake from Windvogel and released it into the wild, away from houses.
With more and more wildlife habitat being destroyed, wild animals often find themselves in urban areas.
There is no need to hurt or kill any animal when animals can be caught and safely released elsewhere. 😊
It is raining 🌧
Our field teams covered low lying areas today to check that animals are not trapped or tethered.
Our work will continue on the ground early morning. A level 6 warning was issued for NMBM.
Over the next few days we will highlight our Inspectors' daily struggle in our WAR AGAINST CHAINING.
During pro active work in Missionvale yesterday, our Inspector Clayton managed to free a number of dogs from their tethers, issuing stern written warnings to the owners.
Unfortunately not even a tortoise was spared a cruel existence. The tortoise was removed and will be rehabilitated and released into the wild, where it belongs.
We remind public that a permit from DEDEA is necessary to own any wildlife in the Eastern Cape.
Our beautiful Coco is still praying for a home. She is only 2 years old, but has been through such sadness.
Coco was tethered around the waist and later the rope became embedded, almost severing the bottom half of her body and limbs. Watch her story here below.
Please whatsapp us if you would like to meet this sweet girl: 041 4561776. 🤗
Just imagine the suffering if our Field Team was not on the ground to take action ....
Look at the joy the dog experiences when Clayton took its chain off.
Imagine a living area of less than 1m x 1m and the utter boredom, day in and out. 🥲
Say NO to chaining.
YES to dogs living in closed/fenced yards.
We have seen indigent dog owners using wooden pallets, bread baskets, spring mattresses etc. to make fences. It can be done. Where there is a will, there is a way. 😊
Poverty is no excuse for animal abuse.
🌟 **Heartfelt Thanks to Our Dedicated Veterinary Team!** 🌟
Just a sneak peek of what our veterinary team is doing inside our clinic.
Their compassion and commitment make a world of difference for both pets and their owners. In areas where resources are scarce, their efforts in delivering medical care, vaccinations, and education ensure that many animals get the chance to live a healthier, happier life.
Together, we are making the world a better place, one paw (or hoof) at a time. 🐾❤️
