Here we find magic in the tranquility and majesty of this incredible place in which we are privileged to live and ride. This is an area of great natural beauty, rich in wildlife and where time flows with the relaxed pace of the west coast and small town lifestyle. The ghosts of Dutch adventurers tenaciously cling to this isolated haven where you can canter along its deserted ocean beaches, ride the rugged bluffs with the great ocean crashing against the sand far below, and meander on trails through the magnificent Sardinia Bay reserve. Your host Jackie invites you to ride with her on her prized string of much loved horses. Her horses round out the line up of wonderfully well-trained horses, in English style saddles. The quality of horses available to ride are top notch and so are the exciting trails you will discover together. This is a riding vacation that can cater for many types and levels of riders, as the riding group is intermittently broken up throughout the day's trail to allow experienced riders to ride the optional fast stretches and where novice riders can opt for a relaxed version, all meeting up again further along the route. Experienced riders will welcome and appreciate the opportunity to test their skills on a mock endurance ride along the way. The guide can teach riders all the fine details about the fine tuned conditioning of the sport horse and the intricacies of a long distance trek ! The trail and Coast Ride along the pretty beaches offers, the Sardinia reserve and up into the coastal range, richly covered with towering dunes and offering views that stretch to what seems like eternity. Lodging is in a lovely boutique style self catering apartment on the farm 3 bedrooms, can sleep 7. Fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom and lovely braai and deck area overlooking a horse paddock. Situated on a farm called Heavenly Stables which provide beach and trail horse rides as well as lessons. So you think let's do good and donate apples to a charity organization in need for the animals. I received a bakkie load of apples. Realized it's too much for all my horses and didn't want them to get old so decided to fill 3 horse feed bags of 100 to 150 apples per bag.
Dropped them off. I have 7 witnesses who saw the bags and contents. The manager was not there but gave it to her helper and told her to tell the manager I brought them for the animals
2 months went past heard nothing, so I asked the manager if the animals enjoyed the apples as I did not hear anything.
She preceded to say oh I didn't know where they came from and that some needed to be thrown away is it was too much and they got old. Then I said how did you not notice a s**t load of apples as a donation and not ask where they came from and she said. Thats not a s**t load we get bakkies loads
Then when I confronted her she says on FACEBOOK. 3 bags of apples as a thank you.
Maybe a childrens home, homeless shelter or even homleigh farm would appreciate this more...
