You can prevent tick bite fever in your pets by using tick prevention products (๐๐ฌ๐ค ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐!), check your pets for ticks, and keep their vaccinations up to date.
Remember to check your pets regularly for ticks, especially in places like underarms and groin areas.
To remove a tick, use tweezers to grab the tick as close to the skin as possible. Pull upward with steady, even pressure.

The Red-fronted Tinkerbird is a bird that often remains hidden, but the continuous call is a dead giveaway that they are around.
The bird is important for seed dispersal. Small fruit and berries are eaten whole with the seeds dispersed in a different location.

This little family of one Jack and two Jills were surrendered to a shelter as their owners need to travel for work.
They are a delightful union of siblings, and they love their playtime in the dog park.
All three are affectionate and loving.
In a perfect world, it would be great if we could keep them together, but we know that is a near impossible task.
They can be rehomed together or separately as long as they will have other canine friends.

These two were found on the streets and taken to a shelter for safekeeping.
The owner surrendered them and now this beautiful Doberman couple is available for ADOPTion.
Raya and Ramon have lived with children and seem social with other dogs, although a meet and greet needs to be done.
Ramon loves his ball and plays with his toys. Raya is quieter and loves attention.

Often shelters are slandered because of their policies, specifically euthanasia of perfectly healthy pets.
Here is the thing - they cannot "kill" what they do not have ... Please spay & neuter your pets and if you are in the market for a new bestie, please ADOPT.
Tiny Fawn is a victim of irresponsible pet ownership. Her parents were not sterilized and the home she ended up in was not committed to her well-being.
She got lucky. She is safe now and we are trying to find her That Perfect Home.
Fawn weighs less than 10kg and is approximately 8 months old.
She is petite, super cute and loves to be cuddled.
Fawn would enjoy living with a social companion to play with.
