The owner surrendered them and now this beautiful Doberman couple is available for ADOPTion.

There are more than 200 species of chameleons, which approximately 20 are found in South Africa ... ?
Chameleons' extinction risk is high, with 34% of chameleon species being classified as threatened and 18% near threatened.
Four species of South African dwarf chameleons are endangered.
There is a general trend that biodiversity across the world is rapidly declining due to a variety of factors: land use change, climate change, invasive species, over-exploitation, over-pollution, and the worst of all, the use of poison/insecticides.
We need to do better!

Often shelters are slandered because of their policies, specifically euthanasia of perfectly healthy pets.
Here is the thing - they cannot "kill" what they do not have ... Please spay & neuter your pets and if you are in the market for a new bestie, please ADOPT.
Tiny Fawn is a victim of irresponsible pet ownership. Her parents were not sterilized and the home she ended up in was not committed to her well-being.
She got lucky. She is safe now and we are trying to find her That Perfect Home.
Fawn weighs less than 10kg and is approximately 8 months old.
She is petite, super cute and loves to be cuddled.
Fawn would enjoy living with a social companion to play with.
Do not lose out on this beautiful little gem, contact Kathryn at [email protected] and #TalkADOPT

Night adders lay eggs instead of bearing live young like other vipers ... ?
Most night adders are nocturnal hunters and prey on frogs.
The rhombic night adder (our model), has rhomboid-shaped markings and a V on top of the head.
The venom of night adders is not very toxic. Their venom is cytotoxic, causing pain and swelling and although not deadly should not be underestimated, especially when children and pets are involved. Doctors treat the bites symptomatically and antivenom does not work.
