Sweet Potato Chew Sticks for Dogs 🍠🦴🐾
These Sweet Potato Chew Sticks are a simple, healthy, and long-lasting treat for your furry friend. Packed with fiber, vitamins, and natural sweetness, they make the perfect chewy snack that promotes dental health and keeps your pup happily occupied.

Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes (washed and peeled)
1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, for added crispiness)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). The low temperature ensures slow dehydration for a chewy texture.

2. Slice the Sweet Potatoes
Cut the sweet potatoes into long, thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).
For extra chewiness, make the slices slightly thicker. Try to keep them uniform for even baking.
3. Optional Olive Oil Coating
Lightly brush the sweet potato strips with olive oil for added crispiness and a hint of flavor.
4. Bake the Chew Sticks
Arrange the sweet potato slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, flipping halfway through.
The chew sticks should be firm and slightly shriveled but not burned.
5. Cool Completely
Let the chew sticks cool completely. They will harden and become chewier as they cool.

Storage:
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Refrigerate: Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Freeze: Freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw slightly before serving.
Benefits:
Sweet Potatoes: Packed with beta-carotene, vitamins A and C, and fiber to support digestion and immune health.
Chewy Texture: Helps clean teeth naturally by promoting chewing and reducing plaque buildup.
Olive Oil (optional): Provides healthy fats for a shiny coat and skin.
Pro Tips:
Use a sharp knife or mandoline slicer for even, uniform slices.
For a crispier version, bake the sticks for an additional 30 minutes at a lower temperature (225°F).
These Sweet Potato Chew Sticks are a healthy, long-lasting, and satisfying homemade treat for your dog. They're easy to make, full of nutrients, and perfect for pups who love to chew! 🐕✨🍠🦴🐾

Banana and Peanut Butter Chewy Sticks for Dogs 🍌🥜🦴🐾
These Banana and Peanut Butter Chewy Sticks are the perfect homemade treat for your furry friend. Soft, chewy, and packed with natural goodness, they’re made with simple, nutritious ingredients that dogs love.

Ingredients:
1 ripe banana (mashed)
1/4 cup creamy, unsalted peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 cup oat flour (or finely blended rolled oats)
1/4 cup rolled oats (for texture)
1 large egg
1-2 tablespoons water (if needed to bind the dough)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe banana until smooth.
Stir in the peanut butter and egg until well combined.
Gradually add the oat flour and rolled oats. Mix until a thick dough forms.
If the dough is too dry, add water 1 tablespoon at a time to bring it together.
3. Shape the Chewy Sticks
Scoop out portions of dough and roll them into stick shapes about 4-5 inches long.
Place the sticks on the lined baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
4. Bake
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sticks are firm on the outside but slightly soft in the center for a chewy texture.

5. Cool Completely
Let the chewy sticks cool completely on a wire rack before serving to your dog.

Storage:
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Refrigerate: Keep in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Freeze: Freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw slightly before serving.
Benefits:
Banana: Provides potassium, fiber, and natural sweetness, supporting digestive health.
Peanut Butter: A great source of protein and healthy fats for energy and a shiny coat.
Oat Flour: Gentle on digestion and packed with fiber for gut health.
Egg: Adds protein and nutrients for muscle strength and overall health.
Pro Tips:
For extra chewiness, slightly underbake the sticks (around 18-20 minutes).
Add a sprinkle of chia seeds or flaxseed for an omega-3 boost.
These Banana and Peanut Butter Chewy Sticks are an easy, nutritious, and tail-wagging treat your pup will adore. Soft and satisfying, they’re perfect for dogs of all ages, including senior pups! 🐕✨🍌🥜🦴🐾

Regular professional grooming is a must. But regular daily brushing is just as important when you want to keep your fur baby in full coat. Please note this is one of my regular clients and this happened due to unusual circumstances so please don't judge, photos are only used for educational purposes.
