Luna needs a special home.

She was found living in a drain — clearly not feral, and possibly abandoned.
She has an old hind-leg fracture that healed skew, but it doesn’t affect her quality of life. With all the heavy rain, the kind woman feeding her asked for help.
Luna is now safe in foster care, sterilised, and as sweet as they come.

Sadly she tested positive for feline leukaemia, but is currently healthy.
She will need a special home where she can be an only, indoor cat or live with another FELV-positive companion.

While many people are winding down after a long year and looking forward to a fun, relaxing festive season, rescue work never slows down — and sadly, neither does the breeding cycle.

All rescue organisations are overwhelmed with requests to take in kittens. Our foster homes are full and our resources are stretched thin.

We urgently need sponsors to help sterilise feral cats in our community.
The cost per sterilisation is R550, and every single one prevents countless future litters.

Our trapping session on Thursday evening went really well. Within the first half hour we managed to trap these precious kittens. 💛

It took another two hours of patience to finally trap their mom and an adult male — but we got them!

The kittens aren’t too feral and are now safe, dewormed, vaccinated and in foster care. They’ll soon be looking for their forever homes. 🏡✨

We’ll be heading back tomorrow evening to try and trap the remaining two adults.

A huge shout-out to our kitty angel, Martie, for covering the costs. ❤️ We appreciate you more than you know!
