Do you remember this sweetheart who was rescued almost a year ago?
Cupcake was found by the roadside, suffering from paralysis in her hind legs. Despite being skinny, worm-infested, covered in fleas, and enduring severe discomfort from the paralysis, she purred non-stop.
She received intensive rehabilitation at Pawsitive Pawsabilities, where she learned to walk again and overcame many challenges.
While one of her hind legs remains slightly weak and she occasionally walks a bit wobbly, regular maintenance sessions help strengthen her legs.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at Pawsitive Pawsabilities, who always treat Cupcake with the utmost care, and to the kind angel who generously sponsored four rehabilitation sessions.

Rosie needs our help.
This sweet darling was found at a factory. When we took her in, we noticed something was wrong with her tail—it had very little feeling. Sadly, Rosie is also incontinent, due to a traumatic spine injury.
Despite initial treatment, her condition hasn’t improved, and we’ve been referred to a specialist for further care.
Rosie is an absolute cuddle bug—super sweet and playful—so we’re determined to give her the best chance at a happy, healthy life.

A Heartwarming Story:
While searching for our missing Billy, we came across a post about a cat that looked just like him. The poor kitty was crying and searching for food at a residential complex, but no one there claimed him. We called on our trusted kitty angel, Annie Bennet, to trap him and ensure his safety.
Sadly, it turned out not to be Billy, and the little guy wasn’t microchipped either. We shared his details on Facebook and community groups, hoping to find his owner. Late last night, we received a call: “We know it’s late, but could we come fetch our cat?” It was Tubby, who had gone missing back in August!
Of course, we understood their urgency to reunite, and the joyful reunion was worth every effort. Tubby is now happily back home where he belongs.
What a beautiful and unexpected outcome!
Gizmo .... what a long way he has come.
Two years ago we got involved with his feral colony. We started to trap, neuter and return. We put up feeding stations to ensure good quality food and clean, fresh water.
Gizmo was a terrified chap and he and his buddies would run and hide at the sight of us. Now he is happy to see us, chatting and wanting to be cuddled. He even allows us to pick him up.

When you arive at a feeding station and kitties are super excited to see you, knowing you will clean and fill bowls with fresh water and yummy food.
Update on Billy, the Capital Park rescue.
Initially the thought was that Billy was a feral, but it turned out that he was just very scared. Dirty and full of scars, that tells a story of having to survive on the streets for a long time.
Cats are usually very clean and they groom several times a day. For Billy to be so dirty, he must have been dehydrated and didn't have access to drinking water.
Cats' saliva glands are not functioning properly, because they require moisture and therefore they do not groom.
Billy is starting to trust more and more everyday. He is eating well and has started cleaning his face and paws. Still has a way to go in the grooming section.
He comes out from his sleeping spot under the desk and slowly approuches for a bit of a cuddle. Once he feels comfortable he curls up for a nap next to me.

Sweet Simon is still up for adoption (Pretoria).
Although abandoned by his family when they moved away, he remains easy-going. He has a charming personality and is the ultimate cuddle buddy.
Simon will be a loyal companion to anyone who offers him a forever home and will win you over with his soft nature.
