Dr. Ulrike Kafka joins our team, bringing her exceptional expertise in Radiology and diagnostic imaging

* New Interns: After a rigorous selection process, we welcome our top three candidates:
- Dr. Vicky Sheasby-Collett
- Dr. Chantelle Blofield Maritz
- Dr. Laura Beamish Kent

Out of over 20 highly qualified veterinarian applicants, these individuals stood out for their exceptional skills and dedication to becoming the best possible veterinarians they can be.

New Veterinary Nurses: We also extend a warm welcome to Sr. Monique Kotze, who joins our nursing team and Sr Desire le Roux who has not yet received a formal welcoming.

Update: Currently in foster care.

The same doggo is back as a stray.
Last week this Jack Russell was found and brought to Olympus. After 3 days the owner came to collect. A microchip was placed and he was sent home.
Now he is back, but the owner never registered the microchip. So we cannot get hold of the owners 😥.
Please help us share again so we can refind the owners 🙏
He has been here since the weekend, we were waiting and hoping the owner would come and fetch him. But no one has come.
He does not do well in the kennels. We might need to think about a foster home in the mean time.

Kneading is also a way for cats to stretch out their legs and toes. Seeking attention is another common reason for cats to enjoy kneading, and this is usually accompanied by purring. But in this case, this kitty is kneading for soothing purposes, for relaxation and stress relieve. Not all patients enjoy being in a hospital environment, but this cutie is doing a good job of keeping herself calm. ❤️
