Update: Currently in foster care.

The same doggo is back as a stray.
Last week this Jack Russell was found and brought to Olympus. After 3 days the owner came to collect. A microchip was placed and he was sent home.
Now he is back, but the owner never registered the microchip. So we cannot get hold of the owners 😥.
Please help us share again so we can refind the owners 🙏
He has been here since the weekend, we were waiting and hoping the owner would come and fetch him. But no one has come.
He does not do well in the kennels. We might need to think about a foster home in the mean time.

BONE-TASTROPHE AVERTED!

Meet Roxy, the adventurous 10-week-old Boerboel puppy who learned the hard way: bigger isn't always better...

She gulped down a massive bone that got stuck in her esophagus, causing severe pain, difficulty breathing and esophageal damage.

Luckily, Dr. Hermien Viljoen, our specialist surgeon, saved the day by performing top-notch surgery.

Today, Roxy's back to her playful, sassy self!

Her ordeal taught us:
1. Bones are NOT snacks!!
2. Never fear when Dr. Viljoen is near!!

Well done, Dr. Viljoen! You're truly a legend!!

2 dogs were found in Lynnwood road. The other doggy ran away and was not brought to the clinic along with this male Jack Russell.

No microchip found.
