We urgently need your help, please 🙏🙏
We are not funded by government or the municipality. We use 150kg of dogfood a day. Recently we had to buy dogfood, something we will not be able to do for to long.
The Tshwane SPCA do not have the luxury that other NPO'S have. We can not and will not show any animal away. Every animal that comes through our gates cost us money. They have to be seen by our Veterinarian, if treatment is needed it will be given. Help us to help them 🙏🙏

Two hours of digging to rescue the last of a litter of four pups in a labyrinth of semi-collapsed concrete drains behind the old railway in Irene. Well done Inspectors Serra and Karen, Kennel Manager Jermille, and Kennel Assistant Robert!

The Centurion branch has a rather unusual breed of pup in the kennels at the moment. Please meet Jude. Breed: Blue Lacy. This is an exceptionally energetic breed which needs a home offering lots of space and exercise. Jude is very affectionate and friendly, though unfortunately she wasn't integrated into her family home and therefore requires a lot of patience and training. She is extremely lively and is the ideal companion for a dog lover looking for a jogging or hiking companion. This breed is not recommended for inexperienced dog owners. Please let us know if you'd like to meet her by contacting reception on 012 664 5644.

BREAK-IN AT WALTLOO BRANCH - URGENT APPEAL 🆘 ❗❗

We had a devastating break-in at the Waltloo branch during the night. The guard was held at gunpoint whilst the intruders made their way into the admin building and breached our strong room safe where we lock away our laptops.

Six (6) laptops were stolen - these serve reception (animal intake and adoptions), the veterinary clinic, and our Inspectorate (animal cruelty response) which has a direct knock-on effect on our services and communications as we head into our busiest period.

SAPS is currently on the scene to investigate and whilst the equipment is insured, it is going to take days or more to get replacement laptops and get them configured.

We appeal to the public that has access to new or pre-loved computer equipment to consider donating these to us urgently to keep us operational - due to the integrated software that we use in our Society the laptops must have a Windows operating system, Windows 10 Pro or higher.
