Were you surprised with a couple of cute, fluffy, unexpected chicks....? It happens ;)
Here are the main feed you might want to consider:
- Grow meal is suitable for day-olds and can be fed up to 17 weeks of age (point of lay), but it's common to switch over to Chick Chick 1 from about 8 weeks of age.
Grow pellets can also be given, depending on the chicks' ability to ingest the pellets.
- Chick chick nr 1 is the finest of the crushed mealies and can be fed after grow meal or in combination of.
- Chick chick 2 is a slightly courser crushed mealie, still suitable for chicks.
- Mixed fowl is a combination of crushed mealies, sunflower seeds and sorghum. It's perfect for when chicks and adult chickens reside together, as it caters for all. Grow meal can also be added to the mix if chicks are still very young.

At Bronberg Feeds, we not only supply feed for horses, but also the additional supplements that might be required. Some of these include:

1. Horse-Power
Supplies essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements to supplement the normal diet of horses when necessary. This vitamin, mineral supplement is necessary when a horse is in poor health, off it's food and/or does not have a balanced diet in this respect.
