Ever wondered how your pet's microchip works? 🐾

At Elarduspark Animal Clinic, we use Identipet, one of the many reliable microchip implant providers like FiveStar, Virbac BackHome, GetMeKnown, and more!

These microchips are RFID implants that provide permanent ID for your pet. They don't need a power source like GPS does. Instead, when a microchip scanner is passed over your pet, the chip gets enough power to transmit its ID number. 📡

📍 Unfortunately, they're not tracking devices. If they were, we'd probably have microchips in everything—no more losing the TV remote or AirPods!

☎️ Remember to keep your pet's microchipping information up to date, especially your contact numbers!

⚠️ Worried that your pet's microchip isn't registered? No problem! Bring your pet to us, and we'll scan the microchip to ensure it's registered. 🐶🐱

These kittens have been tested for FIV and FeLv, received their first vaccination and they are currently on the Ultra Cat Kitten (0-1 Year). Their estimated date of birth is February 2024!
