Ready for stress-free walks? 🐕

Today’s tip is about leash training—helping your dog stay calm and focused by your side. Here’s how to make each walk a pleasure:

Start Slow: Begin in a low-distraction area, like your home or yard, to let your dog get used to the leash and walking calmly.

Reward Good Behaviour: Use treats or praise every time your dog walks beside you without pulling. Positive reinforcement builds good habits!

Be Consistent: Always stop if your dog starts pulling. Wait for them to relax and focus on you before moving forward. This teaches them that pulling won’t get them anywhere.

Stay Calm and Patient: Keep sessions short and fun to avoid frustration for both of you.

Cassie found her way into the hearts and home of her wonderful family 6 months ago. 💖

From a nervous little girl who needed constant reassurance, Cassie has blossomed into a confident, happy pup who finally feels truly at home. 🏡

It’s been a journey—learning to sleep through the night without checking on mom, exploring the garden solo, and getting the zoomies every time mom comes home from work! 🐾💨

She’s even made great strides with her doggie siblings, waiting patiently during mealtime and growing more comfortable every day.
