Today is World Spay Day, a necessary reminder that spaying and neutering our pets can prevent thousands of unplanned and unwanted litters and reduce the number of stray animals!

Willow is a precious and gentle little girl.
As a family we trap, neuter and release or rescue feral kitties inside our complex. Willow is extremely gentle and purrs constantly, seeking out attention, rubs and cuddles. She recently had a litter of kittens and this Thursday she is booked into the vet to be spayed. She is a young girl, perhaps a year old, and has no feral attributes at all. She has been tested for FIV and FeLV and both are negative. She will have been spayed already when we rehome her. Please help us spread the word. Willow, is a gorgeous girl and should settle quickly into a loving home. The cost of her spaying has been covered by a generous donation, and she will be ready for rehoming only after her spay. Not all who wander are lostโ€ฆ but in the case of our furries, being lost is usually why they end up with us!
We see so many stray animals on a weekly basis and most are unfortunately not microchipped. We try our best to keep them for a week or two for owners to claim them and would appreciate ANY donations towards our stray fund! ๐Ÿ• ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿ€ ๐Ÿ‡ ๐Ÿฆœ

Meet Butch, a 10 year old Boston Terrier who bit off a bit more than he could chew!

Butch came to see Dr Johann with the primary complaint of vomiting. An abdominal radiograph quickly showed us what made Butchie-loo a dull little bostie! ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

Dr Johann performed a gastrotomy on Butch, cutting into the stomach to remove all the not-so-juicy bits that Butch got into. Can anyone guess what he removed?
