What makes our doggy daycare special?

Our dogs are our kids. We will do anything for them.

Are you looking for kennels? We are way better than kennels! The owner of Canine Kids, Jolandi, has done a course in pet behavior and together with a professional temperament test on each dog during the enrollment process, we ensure the best for all the doggies at our doggy daycare and during boarding. All dogs are socialized and therefore there are no kennels and they can run free. This gives them their own holiday during dog boarding (which we call sleepovers) as well. Your fur child is placed in the right group of furry friends to make him or her happy too. The doggy daycare is professional and the dogs play in a supervised environment. We have lovely caretakers that live on the property full time that gives all the love and attention to your furry kids. We're an indoor and outdoor doggy daycare, so that even on bad weather days, the fun doesn't stop! We are also conveniently located on your way to work, so it is easy to drop off and collect your fur child at "creche" for the day!

We are here to give your dogs the best care and love possible when you are busy working or on holiday and we ensure you we will treat your dogs like they are our own.

HOW WE WORK for DAYCARE and SLEEPOVERS:

First thing, please read all our requirements on our bookings page https://www.caninekids.co.za/bookings/

All vaccinations must be up to date, and your dog/s must have an injection the Vet calls a "Kennel Cough" injection. This is not part of their normal vaccinations. This takes about a week to get into their systems. They must also be neutered or spayed if older that 6 months. Then we need to schedule an enrollment session. Your dog does not need to come to this session. At this session I do a temperamental test of your dog/s and I get all the necessary details. This helps us to get to know your dog before they even come to daycare or sleepovers so that we know how to introduce them to other dogs and how they will fit in. This is a must for extra safety for all the furry kids. This takes about an hour and costs R150.

After this, your first day at daycare is for FREE. This is a trial day to see if your furry child fits in and is happy. I keep you updated throughout the day. We advise this day for sleepovers as well so that your doggies can get used to the new environment, and realize they can have a fun day playing but their parents do come and fetch them in the end... it helps with the longing when you are away. After this day you can decide how many days a week you would like to bring your dog/s to daycare, or you can arrange and book your sleepover.
