To say goodbye... I absolutely hate it, as tears usually flow, even if you don't wave goodbye in person at the airport 😭
Today was a hard day as I had to perform the goodbye at the airport myself... Jameson became my shadow during the time spent as our family. Daisy Blue and Bailey were also part and parcel of our pack...

Zia was checked in 1st where after Koda, Tuli and Skye followed.

Relocating pets are not for the feint hearted... We have several furry companions ready to catch their flights early next week to be reunited with their humans abroad.

Prior to setting paw on plane, their Vet Health Certificates must be endorsed by the State Vet. We have to make use of the State Vet office situated in Pretoria CBD...

However... An email from the State Vet's admin staff has been received...

"Hi all

Please note that our office are closed until further notice. The situation is beyond our control. Weve been locked out by the landlord. As soon as we received any update we will inform accordingly. At this stage we cannot access any of our documents to do any processing.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

On the brighter side, the situation can only approve! 🙏🏻🙌🏻

Safe travels Axel, Barkslee & Shimmy!
All were on schedule, pets loaded and as we were expecting the tracking to reveal our pets are in the air, we were informed that all live animals were offloaded on the Emirates flight supposed to depart just after 1pm this afternoon...
Our babies were re-booked on the later afternoon flight. This meant a longer time in their travel crates...
Anke & Monya drove back to the airport to walk the pooches and to ensure that their crates are still clean. Each doggy was removed from his /her crate to enjoy a 'leg stretch' and I am delighted to report that they are all now in the air, enroute to joining their family in the UK 🇬🇧👍🏻👨‍👩‍👦💕

This is how we ensure the lowest levels of stress will be experienced by our travelling VIPs...
This video was taken Sunday evening (yesterday). Axel, the GSD walking into his crate, boarded his flight to the UK this afternoon along with siblings Barkslee and Shimmy... All 3 of them were crate trained while enjoying their 'pre-departure preparation' vacation at Berrakaw Pet Resort during the past week... They enjoyed free running around and playing with numerous friends, slept in the bedroom with us and received a cookie every night prior to lights off...
Bed cuddles... We treasure each and every furry companion as our own beloved pet💕
