Update on Lucky’s Journey

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Fanie Naude and his amazing team at Johannesburg Specialist Veterinary Centre for performing a life-saving operation on our beloved Lucky. Their generosity in offering their time, facilities, and expertise at a significantly reduced rate has given Lucky a fighting chance at recovery.

A special thank you to Dr. Carrington from our hospital, who brought Lucky back to Florida Vet today. Lucky is now starting his long road to recovery, which will include 6 weeks of cage rest, extensive physiotherapy (thanks to Sian Johnston from Happy Feet Animal Physiotherapy), and lots of love and attention.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated to Lucky’s fund so far. Your support has made this life-saving operation possible. However, we still need your help to cover the remaining costs. Every contribution, big or small, will bring Lucky one step closer to a full recovery.

Today is Boss's Day...

How blessed are we to have these two well respected men as our Bosses.

Dr Dave Miller and Dr Fanie Naude truly set the bar high as Bosses, their leadership, kindness and passion for what they do inspires all the staff on a daily basis.

Do we get in trouble as staff sometimes?
Yes we do, but never unfairly!!! 😁

It is absolutely meant wholeheartedly when we celebrate this day with Dr Miller and Dr Naude. With pride and joy we say we love you two ! ! !

❣️Sneaky's Last Chemo Treatment was today❣️

Well done to the dedicated owner and this very sweet, brave and polite boy Sneaky.

Sneaky started his chemo journey with JSVC and we are very proud to announce that today was the last day. Being over joyed for Sneaky's victory we will definitely miss seeing him so often. ❤️

Join us for a fun run/walk as we raise funds for CLAW, The 9th Day Animal Rescue, and Maltese French Poodle & Yorkie Rescue, in partnership with Randridge Mall .🐾🐕

🗓️When: 31 August. The first group starts at 7:00 am, with 30-minute intervals until 9:30 am.
📍Where: Loerie Park, near Entrance 2. Look for signage on the day.
🚶‍♀️What: 3km or 5km Fun Run/Walk
Cost: R100 per person (dogs go free!)
