The fastest dog is the Greyhound. Greyhounds have thin, lean bodies and long, strong legs that give them the ability to move really fast. With only 3 strides, a greyhound dog can get up to 48 km per hour and then reach an average speed of 72km/hr. In fact, the fastest greyhound was clocked in at a quick 80 km per hour!
Diabetes is a common disorder characterized by elevated levels of blood glucose (blood sugar) that affects how the body turns food into energy.
Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas that regulates the amount of blood sugar in the blood. Lack of insulin production causes diabetes and prevents blood sugar from getting into the cells of the body and becoming energy. Over time, elevated blood sugar levels can cause serious health problems. Undiagnosed or diagnosed diabetes in dogs can turn into a medical emergency called diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
The main symptoms of diabetes include:
Increased thirst
Increased urination
Increased appetite
Weight loss
Lethargy
Dehydration
Cataracts

Regular vomiting in your cat is not normal. Vomiting more than twice a month needs to be looked into.
IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) is a common cause of vomiting in cats. IBD can result in swelling in the pylorus that creates a pocket in which fur would accumulate and the only sign may be vomiting of fur balls. Chronic inflammation from IBD can result in cats sometimes developing intestinal lymphoma. If your cat vomits more than twice a month make sure to schedule a visit with your vet.

Xylitol is commonly used as a sugar substitute that can be toxic to dogs. It is often found in sugar-free chewing gums, candies, toothpaste, peanut butter and more. Even a small amount of xylitol can cause severely low blood sugar, seizures or liver injury.
If you see or suspect ingestion of xylitol-containing products, contact your veterinarian immediately.
