We are committed to Good Breeding principals and to promoting a love for these wonderful dogs. As a family we are passionate about Golden Retrievers.

And became breeders, as part of an ongoing 'love affair' with the breed. They need and crave human companionship. They in turn will shower you with love and do their best to please you. Goldens are boisterous and need a lot of exercise and attention, or they can become bored.... and then like any young child - can become mischievous. These are loving, loyal and very intelligent companions. :)

Billie-Boo is a 4 ½ year old girlie with oodles of attitude and energy. She is spayed, vaccinations are up to date and she is chipped.
She would do well with further training and some routine.
She LOVES her ball! Likes being around people and catching rays of sunshine. She is NOT good with cats. Fine with other dogs, we believe she will do well with one other dog in the household. Has not lived with children, we will look at homing her with older children, age of 12 and older.

Quando capiremo questa realtà?

Sono un cane del 21° secolo.

-Sono un Malinois.
Sovradotato tra i cani, brillo in tutte le discipline e sono sempre pronto a lavorare.
Oggi mi chiedono di rilassarmi sul divano tutto il giorno tutti i giorni.

-Sono un Akita Inu.
I miei antenati sono stati selezionati per la lotta tra cani.
Oggi mi chiedono di essere tollerante e mi si rimprovera la mia reattività quando uno di loro si avvicina a me.

-Sono un Beagle.
Quando inseguivo la mia preda, davo voce, così i cacciatori potevano seguirmi.
Oggi mi si mette un collare elettrico per stare zitto, e vorremmo che tornassi al richiamo con uno schiocco di dita.

-Sono uno Yorkshire Terrier.
Ero un terrificante cacciatore di ratti nelle miniere inglesi.
Oggi si pensa che non sia in grado di usare le mie zampe e mi tengono sempre tra le braccia.

-Sono un Labrador Retriever.
La mia visione della felicità è un tuffo in uno stagno per riportare al mio padrone l'anatra a cui ha sparato.
Oggi ci siamo dimenticati che sono un cane da movimento e grandi corse, sono grasso e devo fare la tata dei bambini.

-Sono un Jack Russel.
Sono in grado di affrontare una volpe un tasso e un ratto più grande di me nella sua tana.
Oggi mi rimproverano per il mio maledetto carattere e vorrebbero trasformarmi in un cane da salotto.

-Sono un Husky Siberiano.
Ho conosciuto i grandi spazi della Russia settentrionale, dove potevo trainare slitte a velocità impressionante.
Oggi ho come solo orizzonte solo le pareti del giardino, e per sola occupazione i buchi che scavo nel terreno.

-Sono un Border Collie.
Sono fatto per lavorare otto ore al giorno, e sono un artista inconfondibile del lavoro con il gregge.
Oggi sono arrabbiati con me perché, per mancanza di pecore, cerco di controllare biciclette, auto, bambini di casa e tutto ciò che è in movimento.

Io sono...
Sono un cane del 21° secolo.
Sono bello, sono allerta, sono ubbidiente, sto in una borsa...
ma sono anche un individuo che ha bisogno di esprimere i propri istinti, e non sono adatto alla vita sedentaria che vorresti farmi condurre.
Passare otto ore al giorno da solo in giardino, vederti un po' la sera quando torni a casa e avere diritto solo a una piccola passeggiata igienica mi renderà profondamente infelice.
Lo esprimerò abbaiando durante tutto il giorno, trasformando il tuo giardino in un campo minato, facendo i miei bisogni dentro casa, essendo ingestibile le rare volte che mi ritroverò fuori e, a volte, passando le mie giornate affondato sul mio cuscino.
Penserai allora che sono felice di poter godere di tutta questa comodità mentre vai a lavorare: in realtà sarò in esaurimento, perché questo male non è appannaggio dell'umano ma anche del cane del 21° secolo.
Se ti piaccio, se mi sogni da sempre, se i miei bellissimi occhi azzurri o il mio look da atleta mi fanno desiderare, ma non puoi regalarmi una vera vita da cani, una vita che vale davvero la pena di essere vissuta, e se non puoi offrirmi il lavoro che i miei geni chiedono, allora rinuncia a me.
Se ti piace il mio aspetto ma non sei disposto ad accettare i miei tratti di carattere derivati da una rigorosa selezione genetica e pensi di poterli cambiare con la tua unica buona volontà, allora rinuncia a me.
Sono un cane del 21° secolo, sì,ma in fondo a me, dorme ancora colui che combatteva, colui che cacciava, colui che tirava slitte, colui che guidava un gregge.
E prima o poi, nel bene o nel male, si sveglierà.
E allora cosa farai?
Mi cederai?
Mi abbandonerai?
O mi sopprimerai?

These 2 girls, yes, it's two Golden Retriever females of 10 months old, were surrendered because they chased Sheep. So they cannot be adopted to a home with livestock.
They are gorgeous water babies. If you have a pool, be sure that they will be swimming every chance they get .

Our very special boy Stevie needs to progress to the next part of his journey. Stevie needs a home where he will not only be adored but also given time and patience to learn and blossom more. Stevie was found as a stray and as such we do not have any history. Stevie has come a long way over the past 2 plus months. He is now able to be walked on lead, can see better, even though his vision is limited in his left eye. He has interacted with other dogs and plays like a crazy child, we would need to do a meet and greet with potential dog friends, medium to large breed, social dogs. He does have a high prey drive so no cats for Stevie, which is also why we would rather not place him with small breed dogs. He will need patience to learn being in a home and further training will be beneficial for him.

Stevie has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Although his eye operation has been successful in dealing with the ingrown eyelid he will have some need for eye drops and wiping of his eye due to the discharge from the eye. It is not a huge expense, we are using Artelac Allergy Eye Drops from Dischem.

He loves attention and will still jump up, hence the further training 😊 Older kids from 8 plus. 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲!

Rintie is a super sweet 5 year old. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He needs a special home as he has issues around food and resource guarding, management of this will be discussed with potential homes.
Large breed calm females will be best suited for him. 𝗡𝗢 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀. He does not know cats, we will err on the side of caution and rather home him with no cats or other small animals.

He is not great with young kids, a home with teenagers and older will be best suited for him.
He loves attention and is good on lead and in the car. Must sleep inside!

My purchase of a well bred purebred dog does not condemn another dog to death.
My purchase of a well bred purebred dog does not result in an uptick in the shelter dogs.
My desire to have a dog with predictable temperament from a healthy line does not result in another dog not getting adopted at the shelter.
My careful research on the most responsible breeders who meet all requirements is not the problem. It's not what you should be mad at.
It's not who you should blame.
I am not the one who irresponsibly brought these dogs into this world and left them in a shelter. Responsible breeders aren't the ones bringing these dogs to animal shelters either.
It's my home, my life and my choice what kind of dog I want to bring in. Maybe I need a working dog, sport dog, show dog or just a companion dog of a certain breed that suits me best.
Whatever reason I choose to support a reputable breeder, it will not send an animal protection dog to death.
A breeder who does health tests, temperament tests and titling of their dogs does not contribute to the number of stray dogs.
The number of stray dogs in the world is a problem, but it's not a problem made worse by reputable breeders or those who buy from them.
Your neighbor who gets a "purebred" dog without papers because they're cheap is contributing to the problem.
Your friend who spontaneously bought a puppy from Petland is contributing to the problem.
The person scrambling to pump out the hottest designer mix ASAP is contributing to the problem.
Your relatives who have to get their dog covered once, "so she can experience what it's like to be a mother" or because "she's such a good/cute/sweet girl" are contributing to the problem.
Your old school mate who bought a working dog with lots of energy without taking the time to research its needs and character who ultimately sees it doesn't fit his lifestyle is the problem.
A reputable breeder offers lifetime support. A serious breeder would never allow their dogs to end up in a shelter from the start.
It's understandable to be angry about the number of homeless dogs in the world, but if you look closer, you'll find that your anger is misplaced.
