Our steps are designed to give dogs and cats the freedom to get on and off beds and couches with ease She took to them straight away, as did our other 2 daxies.
We started this project after our little daxie Phoebe had back surgery in 2013. At the time, we put our mattress on the floor so she could still sleep on the bed - this wasn't ideal! Our solution was to make steps so she could have the independence to get on and off the bed and couches unaided. We found the steps so useful that we decided to make them available to people with pets in a similar situation. And so Steps for Pets was launched.

If you are in Bloubergstrand this amazing wooden dachshund sculpturer has these dachshunds for sale. You can WhatsApp Joseph on 0845185876 and he can meet up with you at Eden on the Bay. He also does markets there over the weekend. They are between 40 - 43cm long and +- 20cm high and each one is different. He sells them for R450. I ordered 4 from him in February and couriered them myself to Joburg. Photos below. The other photos he sent me yesterday. They are absolutely fabulous and quite light.

To assist your pets, puppy to senior, energetic to ailing to be able to have the freedom to get on and off beds and couches. Made out of a high density foam and an extra high density for pets over 15kg. Our steps are covered in a quality upholstery grade backed faux suede with a zip down the back for easy removal to wash. Steps can also be custom made to suit your requirements. Dimensions and prices are on each photo but are excluding courier fees from Sandton. These prices are available until the foam prices rise (which hopefully will not be too soon).

Soria bought a six step to enable her mini yorkie to be able to get on and off the bed. The cats decided to test them out first. Quality check done and now the little yorkie has access to and from the bed. I thought that was too cute 😀

Isla and Finn got their new steps yesterday and have learnt so quickly how to use them. These are taller steps as the bed is higher and they have no problem. Sweet, precious dogs. Thank you Simone for fetching the steps and for your support.
Stitch, this gorgeous Pug had huge reservations when receiving his steps. He wasn't interested and thought that they were some kind of weird chair or something. His mom tried bribery and what ever she could until one evening she decided to leave him on the floor when going to bed. Amazing how soon he realised what that were actually for 🤣. These 4 little sweethearts Kira (Pekingese) 5 months, Sadie (Sh*tszu) 4 years, Astro (Sh*tszu x Yorkie) 5 years and little Luka (Pekingese) 8 weeks have a wonderful granny in Durban who had steps sent to Pretoria for them all to use. Biscuit, a 14 week old French Bulldog received her steps in Stellenbosch today and is already getting the idea. Her mom says it is making her life easier too, by not having to lift her up on to the bed. You go sweet little girl!! Thank you Tina for the video.❤️🐾🐾🌹

Bella and Cocoa's mom came from Hartebeestpoort to fetch their steps for them. They are 15 weeks old now so have the freedom to get on and off mom's bed as they please from an early age.

We custom made these steps for Daisy, a 45kg Italiano Spinone. As you can see there is a ledge all the around the bed so we made the steps with an extra piece at the back that goes over the ledge to make it easier for Daisy. Her mom said that they don't move or dent and are one of the best investment she has made (They were expensive!!). Thank you so much Johanna for your feed back and the photos. Enjoy Daisy ❤❤
