With a forty-year commitment to aiding ethical rescue groups through dog rehabilitation and rehoming, our boarding kennels welcomed Rosie in August, she is a rare Pharaoh Hound (indigenous to Malta). During her almost four-month stay, Rosie has won our hearts. As a breed seldom found in South Africa, we strive to secure a knowledgeable forever home for her. Rosie embodies the quintessential traits of Pharaoh Hounds. The accompanying photographs showcase her transformation, with the first three depicting her initial state.

As the chilly Friday afternoon winds down, our hounds are snug and warm, and their dinner is about to be served. We create our own wholesome bone broth gravy incorporating sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and spinach ensures that tummies are full and they can all rest comfortably. A special thanks to Maya, Dustin, Ben and Rosie for modelling their jerseys for us

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of Honey's rehabilitation and fostering period us. After being surrendered to SAFE, we offered to assist this amazing organization with Honey.
Honey rapidly settled into our daily life and established strong emotional ties with our family throughout her recovery. We have no doubt that in her new home Honey will undoubtedly receive the care and devotion she deserves. We extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to Honey and her new Mom for a future filled with happiness and love.

Sunday morning smiles:
Little Honey is a foster child that is currently with us. She was removed from some very sad circumstances and didn't have much trust of humans in general until Kerry Janke from SAFE took her in. We offered to assist with her foster and within a few short weeks she is gaining weight beautifully, has learned to take treats without snatching and has finally settled enough and is trusting enough that she can fall into a deep sleep with her vulnerable belly exposed. Truly a sign of trust and contentment. Honey has an adoption pending and, although happy for her, we will miss her.
