Hop Haven Hop Haven Bunny Rescue is a rescue centre aimed at finding forever homes for unwanted bunnies. Please note that we are NOT open to the public!

We raise awareness and educate the public about the correct care of rabbits. Hop Haven Bunny Rescue is home to around 50-80 bunnies that have been rescued from a number of different circumstances. We run primarily on the money that is brought in through our Open Day shops and with donations. We rescue, sterilise and give bunnies a safe and loving home until they find their forever homes. ion procedure is fairly simple and we do whatever we can to find our bunnies the best homes that they deserve. Each bunny has their own personality and individual preferences. Baby girl, Ellie, is ready and waiting for a home and family to call her own! 🩷

This little bug is the friendliest and most loving girl ever - she loves her humans and adores other bunnies 🤍 she is the zoomie queen and loves showing off how fast she is with her crazy twists and turns ✨️

Ellie would make an excellent buddy for any single bunny or groups looking to add another hopper 🐰 she loves to be in the middle of the snuggle puddle and hang out with her bunny friends! She is super cuddly too and wants to be petted and snuggled as much as possible by her humans 💓

Ellie is around 10 weeks old now and is a healthy, happy young lady. She will be spayed through our vets when she is around 6 months old 🌷

This boy is the calmest, sweetest little teenage bunny! He gets along well with all other bunnies and loves to snuggle up and get groomed 🤍

Finn is a very gentle boy. He likes to be cuddled and given head rubs 🩷 For a teenager, he is so calm and relaxed 🫶🏼

About Finn:
Age: +- 4 months old
Gender: Male, neutered
Personality: calm, gentle, loving boy
Compatibility: loves all other bunnies!
Ideal home: Finn would thrive in a mostly indoor home with a bunny friend and some supervised outdoor playtime for zoomies and binkies. He's not a big fan of noise and busy households, so a calmer space would be ideal for him

Our gorgeous new majestic girl, Bonnie 🐰

Sweet Bonnie was brought to us recently after being rescued by a kind soul in Mooreesburg. She was told that Bonnie was too injured to save and she should be put to sleep. With many months of love and care, Bonnie is now completely back to full health and is an incredibly sweet, loving girl 🐰

I've taken over to try find Bonnie a forever home as her rescuer unfortunately could not keep her.

About Bonnie:
🤍 Female, spayed
🤍 Age: unknown (approximately 2-4 years old?)
🤍 Ideal home: no young kids, indoor home prepared to groom her regularly

Our sweet Jelly Belly Boy 🤍

What a cutie JellyBean is.. he absolutely loves head rubs and snuggles and is such a gentle boy 🌷

He is still learning how to be around other bunnies and I am working on socializing him but it is a slow process, especially since he was neutered only recently.

Bean would very much love a cozy home where he can spend lots of time cuddling on comfy blankies and hanging out with his humans 🐇 he loves snackies too and waits very patiently for treat time 🩷

Sweet little babies Onyx and Ollie are so so excited to start the new chapter of their lives 🤍

Onyx and Ollie were born into our care after their mom was rescued off the streets 🐇 they are such loving, special boys that deserve the very best life in the very best home 🩷

The boys are now around 2.5 months old and are super healthy, playful and loving babies! They would love a forever home with a loving family ☀️

🐰 DID YOU KNOW? 🐰

✨ Rabbits have 28 teeth – not just the obvious front ones! They have:
• 4 sharp incisors (the big front teeth)
• 2 tiny peg teeth right behind the top incisors (a bunny secret!)
• 22 cheek teeth for grinding their food

🦷 Their teeth grow about 8–12 cm every year and never stop. That’s why unlimited hay and chew toys are essential – they keep teeth worn down naturally.

🌱 Rabbits also need to eat constantly – their digestive system works best when food is always moving through it. That’s why hay should make up most of their diet.

👂 And here’s a fun fact: A rabbit’s ears aren’t just cute – they help regulate body temperature and can even rotate almost 270° to listen for danger!

💡 Tip for bunny parents: Unlimited hay + safe chew toys + regular vet checks = healthy, happy bunnies.
