The beautiful Bonnie 🐾 💕

Bonnie is a medium sized female, we estimate Bonnie to be around 4 years old ☺. Originally Bonnie was a stray roaming the streets of Jamestown, she was brought in scared and incredibly hungry 😭. She was in desperate need of the AWSS TLC. ♥

During Bonnie's stay she has opened up and has regained her canine confidence! From learning to happily walk with us all on a lead to making plenty of friends 🐾🥰. Bonnie is truly an all-round absolute sweet heart ♥. Quiet, relaxed and very affectionate!

Bonnie would be an amazing addition to a calmer family or for those looking for a relaxed addition to their pack 👪. With or without dogs Bonnie would be perfectly happy as long as she gets plenty of love 😍!

Unfortunately, our cattery is temporarily closed due to snuffles. We are working hard to ensure all of our cats are happy and healthy before we re-open. 🐱💕

Our magnificent movie star 🌟 🐾 ♥

This is Perry a 6 year old male Jack Russell-X that has a larger than life, upbeat character and loves everything and everyone! 🐶 🐾

Perry arrived at AWSS as a stray dog, covered in ticks and fleas and terribly dirty ! We call him our resident movie star as he was found running right next to the Cape town film studio ! 🏃 With him frantically running in the heat a kind volunteer pulled over and Perry immediately responded by running to the car !

Thankfully Perry was not injured in anyway and upon further inspection we can safely say this lost little lamb was from a loving home as the affection levels are off the charts ! 😍 🐶 🏡

To any and all that are looking for a Jackie companion we urge you to come and meet Perry as he will more than likely be exactly what you are looking for ! ☺️🥰😁

🚨 URGENT HELP NEEDED 🚨

Our Speed Queen industrial washing machine has broken down and urgently needs a R21,000.00 repair. This washing machine plays a crucial role in our daily operations - it ensures that our kennels and cattery always have fresh blankets for the animals.

Our beautiful ginger cat, Trixie, has been missing for two days from Oudeberg Farm on Polkadraai Road, and we are desperately looking for him.

🐾 Hey everyone, Olive Oil here, the cutest border collie cross you will ever see! 💕

At almost 2 years old, I'm still young at heart and in body too! 😂 I've got energy to spare and a zest for life that's contagious. Whether it's chasing balls or going on adventures with my favorite humans, I'm always up for some fun!

Now, let's talk about how I ended up here. It's a bit of a sad story, really. You see, I found my way into the care of these wonderful folks because my previous owners couldn't see the amazing future they were missing out on with me by their side. 💔 But hey, their loss is someone else's gain, right? I truly believe I'm the perfect companion for anyone looking to add a little love and laughter to their lives 🥰

I have to be honest with you all: I'm not the biggest fan of cats. 🙀But if you're in the market for a bestie who's equal parts snuggle bug and adventure buddy, look no further!

Poor Brad was signed off but this didn't stop him from taking the shelter life in his stride 🐶 😍!

Brad has got a soft spot for the ladies, but hey, with the right introduction, he would be open to bromances too! 😉🐾 Being around 6 years old and small in size Brad would easily fit into just about any home 🏡.

Brad is also not opposed to being an only child as being the number one in someone's life will make his day ☺ 💕. This little chap has got a way of creeping into your heart. Truly a fabulous little character he is 😎.

🐾 Blaze ♥

Athletic, always ready to have some fun and an absolute loveable goofball! That's Blaze 😍. A classic case of loving and always willing to be on the recieving end of some attention! 💕

Blaze was brought in as a stray with his best buddy by his side on the 29th of January 2024..😔 sad, hungry and desperate for a warm place to catch some shut eye 😴. His story gets sadder as his previous owners decided to rather give him up 💔 😢.

Since then Blaze has been here at AWSS, playing with his pooch pals, chasing after his ball and going for long walks ⚽ 🐾🐶.

A little more about Blaze:
1.) He is a large breed male and is around 5 years old!
2.) He would love a home with a big garden as he is an active lad.
3.) He is a very social young man and would love a fur friend to play with!
4.) Preferably no cats 🙀.

A short tailed funny little lad ♥️🐕

Vaga, a fun loving 4 year old who is a well socialized boy! Vaga is a soft and loving boy. Docile boy that gets along with almost any dog. This calm boy just needs walkies and cuddles to keep him happy.🐾🐶♥️

Vaga was found with his friend wondering Die Boord residential area in search of food and a warm place to sleep upon arriving at the shelter we discovered the owners didn't actually want them anymore 😢💔 it never ceases to amaze us how people can let these amazing souls slip away ..

We believe the right home for a loving dog such as Vaga is close by and waiting for him and likewise he is waiting! Vaga loves the company of volunteers so come through and spend some time with him, who knows maybe you are the home he's been waiting for 🏡🐾 .
