Our yard is family owned and run and we live on the property. We offer livery with permanent grazing, stunning outrides in the vineyards and a relaxed atmosphere to come and spend time with your horse. We also have many different arenas and jumps for the competitive rider. We like to keep our horses as naturally and stress free as possible. Our SANEF qualified yard managers also keep their own horses on the property and always strive to add that personal touch.

Some of the projects around the yard. We've built new shelters because the old ones were looking very tired and got flooded and muddy every winter. We learnt from building shelters at The Oaks that choosing a slopey part of the paddock makes all the difference.

Our 40x20m dressage arena is 12 years old next month. This was the first arena we built when we started the yard, along with the lunge ring next to it. We built it using only the resources we already had, farm tractors and dam sand. It has stood the test of time and this week finally got movable side planks like our 'newer' 60x20m. With movable planks it's easier to keep the corners flat and rideable and avoid banks building up on the outside of the track, trapping water on the track when it rains.

All through the holidays, while regular people were chilling at the beach, we were managing our irrigation 😅 We believe that access to grazing is crucial to a horse's mental and physical health.
