Fun facts about BRT'S

• This Is a Very New Breed. The Black Russian Terrier (BRT) has been around for less than 100 years.

• They Were Military Dogs for the Soviet Union.

• Bred to guard and protect

• Seventeen Breeds Were Used to Create the BRT. Which include the Airedale Terrier, the Giant Schnauzer, the Rottweiler, the Newfoundland, and Caucasian Shepherd Dog.

• These dogs love the snow and will roll around in it almost as though they were self-cleaning

• BRTs often have a longer lifespan compared to some other large breeds, with an average life expectancy of around 10-14 years, given proper care and a healthy lifestyle.

• These dogs are large and powerful, with a robust build and a striking all-black coat. Their bold, distinctive appearance commands attention and respect.
