This morning, the pups enjoyed an energetic run in Cullinan, soaking in the fresh sights, new surroundings, and exciting sounds and smells. The change of scenery and chance to socialize was a great way to kick off the weekend.

Detection dogs need to be able to search for a specific odour which is static and hidden from view. (Think narcotics in a school or a bomb in a suitcase).
We use the “Prey”, “Play” and “Hunting” drives in different combinations and scenarios in dogs with excellent ball drive.
When we refer to "ball drive” and building ball drive, we mean to say that we are developing the dog’s affinity to hunt for and to be rewarded with a KONG toy.
If a dog is not developed towards this goal, it will not be suitable for our training methodology by the time it starts with imprinting, or learning, odour.
