Zoro from South Africa is home! This 3 year old boy lives in Big Bay with his parents, human siblings and kitty sister. Not much of a wanderer, life at home is filled with spoils and great treats, a routine and.... quietness... 🙈. His Mom and Dad are currently away and as often happens with teenagers, his siblings decided to invite some friends over. No funny business, just kids having a gather around safely at home. Well Zoro did not quite agree! He felt he would teach his siblings a lesson! After all Mom left him in charge! So he simply stormed off when the quietness began to fade and boycotted! His siblings realised he hadn't returned home on Friday night and immediately alerted Aunt Emma-Jayne McCulla, our kind next door neighbour to help search. The stakes were high. Mom and Dad were panic stricken being far away so Aunt Emma requested a session yesterday, day 2. Fortunately Zoro was alive, not far away, not lost, simply upset that no one asked his permission first! I explained to boy that the music was off, the friends were gone and his siblings were very very sorry for upsetting him, in fact they were frantically searching for their brother and everyone was on the lookout. Well someone clearly understands that kitties come built in with 9 lives so he left a "cryptic message" on another neighbour's car windscreen 🐾, crawled into the engine and waited patiently. He wanted his siblings to stew 🤭... Luckily this morning the kind neighbour deciphered the clue and found Zoro before driving off! He was taken home in no time with 8 lives to spare! He sure is being waited on hand and paw now by his siblings to make up for the "misunderstanding" and to try to reduce the grounding period when Mom returns! 😂 It was not 1 bit funny but now that all is well, we can have a chuckle. 😆 Thank you Aunt Emma and all the kind neighbours for helping find Zoro!

Baby Tetris from South Africa is home! This 5 year old shy boy lives in Johannesburg with his Mom Sonja Oberholzer, Dad, human and kitty sisters. Tetris stays close to home, the furthest he goes is just next door to sit in the neighbour's garden. He pops in regularly for his food and sleeps indoors. On 14 July boy went missing and his family knew something was wrong. Mom reached out in tears after the searches yielded no baby. I did a session on day 6 and traced a scared, confused boy further up on a particular street, after he had gotten a fright from the neighbour's gardening service. Soon thereafter Mom reported positive sightings by kind humans on that very street but he was elusive when his parents went there. This continued for a few weeks until eventually our Tetris returned home yesterday at 2am. He was adamant that he would do this on his own, of course Mom did amazing work in guiding her boy back. He needed that push from within and at last our family is reunited. He took his time but they all did it! Good job boy, your family is so relieved. Now stay safe baby. 🫶🏼

This is the story of a true HERO! Chewbacca from the UAE is home! This 2 year old boy lives in Dubai with his Mommy Danielle Abrahams, Daddy and his human sibling. Last Sunday at 4am whilst the family was asleep an electrical fault caused his home to fill up with smoke and this brilliant fella alerted Dad! In minutes Daddy and Chewbacca saved the home from danger. Once the smoke cleared, Dad closed the door, not realizing that baby had slipped out but soon enough they began searching. It was extremely hot this week and Mom feared the worst for her indoor baby. I did a session on day 6, Friday. Boy was alive, lost in the rows of villas that started to all look alike, he was clearly still in shock from the events of that morning and it was my job to help him understand that it was safe to come home. I explained what that was about and praised baby for saving the day. We now needed our Hero to be brave again, this time to help us find him by showing himself. I did the mapwork, the pep talk and last night, 1 day after the session Chewy turned up on a neighbour's doorstep to ask for a drink of water whilst they phoned Dad. He listened after 6 days of hiding away. It must have been more convincing since Aunty Shonelle promised him that we are going to throw him the biggest Hero's Party ever with all his favourite treats! Well it's certainly going to be a celebration today! Mom and Dad are to be celebrated too for doing an amazing job on the ground! All is safe and well at last! 👏 FIND COUNT 400!!! I think Aunty Shonelle will join the party too!

Baby Hayley from South Africa is home! This sweet 11 month old girl slipped out the driveway gate for the first time ever! She lives in Johannesburg with her Mom Lindy McClymont Matos, Daddy, her human and doggy siblings. Hayley is truly the baby of the home, sleeps on Mom's bed, adored, loves her family back too. Why she sneaked out when Dad got home on Monday evening, I can only bring down to an innocent, playful, split second mistake and that began a 48 hour nightmare! 2 K9 unit trackings later and nonstop ground searches by the family, calling, asking around, no Hayley. The clock ticked 24 hours when Mom desperately reached out. There was a sighting of baby running along her street that same night, whilst being followed by a vehicle. No one knew if she was picked up by a kind person, in unkind hands, alone, hurt, or even alive. Just imagine the devastation and distress this family was in. I did a session this morning and told Mom that baby was not with humans. She was on her own, lost, along her street and possibly some side roads, hiding away in bushes. It was a relief in a way that she was not taken away but the many risks were all too real as long as she was not home. I reassured baby that there were many kind strangers, not just her family, on the ground searching and that she could trust anyone calling her name. I asked Hayley to firstly remain safe, to follow her internal gauge on who to trust, then remember how much of love we have as a family and allow that to give her the courage to show herself and call out to the search team. This afternoon, the family got camera footage to help trace her movements and indeed, our Hayley emerged from the bushes at the end of the road, she called back to a kind lady who helped search. Just as one split second began this nightmare, another ended it all the same. Vet check clear, safe at home. What great teamwork. Baby thank you for trusting us and coming out. You certainly helped us help you like Aunty Shonelle asked. 🩷

Cosmo from the UK is home! This 7 year old boy was rescued as a very ill and abandoned kitten in Dubai by Mom Katrina Padmore-Jones. Cosmo has some joint and breathing complications. In June the family comprising of his parents, human sibling and 3 kitty siblings moved to the UK where they have been settling in at Grandma's home. He is an indoor baby, sleeps with his Grammy. Dad is his best buddy. Early last Friday the door opened for his siblings to go out into the garden, Cosmo never ventures out but clearly that morning panned out differently. He was nowhere to be found! He was in a new country, new home, next to a main road and not one to go outside anyway. The searches ensued and the days ticked by, no Cosmo. Mom was desperate for help. I connected with a terrified boy on Monday, day 3, he was lost and horrified that his safe world suddenly went topsy turvy! He had "a senior moment" and slipped out the door, from that point it just got worse! He was clearly hiding on neighbours' properties, at the crossroads of the his street and the next, too scared to come out. It had nothing to do with his new kitty brother Mike who can be a bit busy, nor the country to country travel. The family did the groundwork in the mapped out section and this morning someone ran crying into his Mommy's arms. He figured his way back to his garden, had a sleep in his bed that was placed in the shed and waited for Mom to wake up. What a big boy! Well done fella! Time to go back indoors where life is safe. Grammy is over the moon!

The Black One from South Africa is home! This 5 year old boy lives with his parents and doggy siblings in Groot Drakenstein. His kitty sister went missing over 2 weeks ago and the family has been very distressed so when The Black One went missing last Saturday, his parents could not believe that this was happening! Boy does wander but generally stays on his estate. Mom Astrid Ringas always leaves a window open for access. He had his food and told Mom that he was going out for a stroll, his parents went out for the evening. During that time some scary winds swept through the area and his window blew shut. Coincidentally another window blew open but fella didn't realise this since it was all a bit much. Now the neighbourhood comprises of vast stretches of farmlands, sparsely populated homes. As soon as his parents returned and realised boy was missing, they began scaling the area. Days passed, the hurt from 2 babies out there, at risk was unbearable. I did a session on Tuesday with boy, he was alive, spooked from the wind storm, he had lost his way and was moving further away from home towards fields. He did show me a section of houses in the far distance though. I explained that he needed to stay out of the fields, be safe, find kind humans and listen out for his parents voices too. The groundwork in the mapped out section began, such a huge area for a human on 2 legs to scale but see our boy is so intelligent, he went to one of those homes and waited safely in a garden. Last night he called out to his parents directing them to his location and they knew exactly where to find him. What a brave boy, he listened and his parents did everything right too. Good job family. 💪❤

Maggie from Belgium is home! This 9 month old poppet lives with her parents, human, kitty, chicken and guinea pig siblings. Her humans took a weeks holiday and returned last Saturday. The kids were cared for by a petsitter and for extra precautions, the kitties were kept indoors during that time. She was ecstatic to have her Dad and Mom Callen Gerrits back home and to be playing in her garden again. On Sunday afternoon though Maggie went missing! The neighbourhood is quite built up in sections with vast farmlands and forests on the outskirts. I did a session today, day 2 only to find a very spooked little Maggie, hiding away, not too far from home, she had been over enthusiastic and ventured slightly out of her usual territory and must have come face to face with a doggy or strange kitty. From that moment it all went pear shaped very quickly! She bolted, managed to hide away so well that even though her family was close by, she remained silent and out of sight. I did the mapwork, gave baby the pep talk, she was not completely lost but just needed a nudge. I was just logging off from the connection when I got a message that baby was found by neighbours and returned home! I sent Mom the map results and turns out that was exactly where she was found, in a barn! She showed herself to the neighbours and was soon in Mom's arms again! Good team work! Thank you for listening and accepting the help Maggie. 🥰

Leo from the UK is home! This skittish 2 year old boy lives in Ulverston with his parents, kitty sister Meeko and doggy sister Penny. Leo was starting to explore his garden, a cautious boy but as Mom Caity Sinclair mentioned, slightly clumsy at times. 🤭 Not long ago he jumped his wall and landed in the neighbours garden and came face to face with the scary doggies there. It was a close call but a quick recovery leap back and he was hiding inside his home again in seconds! As the weather warmed up he was allowed a few more visits outside to get some air but on 26 June Leo went missing! Mom Caity Sinclair reached out for a session on day 4 since even with their intensive searches Leo was nowhere to be seen. I connected with a scared little boy, lost, having moved in all the wrong directions, between the houses and thick nature areas of the neighbourhood. To make it worse, fireworks went off in the area a few days after he went missing! He was afraid of pretty much everyone and everything by then. He needed guidance and a lot of courage. I explained that the fireworks were over and that if he could find his way home, he could outsmart the scary dogs. His parents and sisters were missing him and he needed to help us help him. The groundwork was done in the mapped out street and last night Leo became Leo the Lion! He wanted to do this on his own and reached home safely, thanks to his parents exceptional guidance. Time to rest that pretty head and tell his sisters about the adventures of Leo the Lion! Good job family. 🩷

Sage from South Africa is home! This is a story of the "Terrible Two's" if ever there was one! Boy is 2 and a half years old, lives with his parents, human, kitty and doggy siblings in Durban. The kids live the best life everyday, this fella especially is Mom's Baby Love. Mom Khadija Sheik took boy to the vet to get a belly rash seen to the previous Wednesday, clearly Mr can read and at the sight of the VET sign in the carpark said "Not a chance!" He opened his carrier, escaped, the gate opened and he ran across the road! Although his parents drove there daily to search for hours, boy refused to show himself. I did a session on day 7 to explain the situation to Sage and ask him to trust us and the humane trap that was put out. I promised no more vet visits, we just needed to take him back home. He had shown himself to the guards there and my mapwork had confirmed that he was still around, just hiding away, making a point. His parents, in between work and home, did their daily searches dropping everything to race there when spotted by the guards, he was sulking in the shadows, throwing a silent tantrum! I told Mom that he knew to not go further away and was just playing hard to get! Last night, a stakeout was planned, the folks were on a mission. He came out, glared at Mom and hid again. They sealed all exits, repositioned the trap, sat until 3am in the cold patiently and at some point Dad realised that boy was sitting calmly in the trap, watching them trying to keep their eyes open! Probably having a laugh! He must have thought "I showed them! They will never think about taking me to a vet again!" In over 9 years, I have yet to see a baby put up such a stubborn stance and these parents were adamant to get the job done! They did indeed!

Oros from South Africa is home! This 7 year old lady lives with her parents, kitty sisters and doggy siblings on a huge farm in Simondium. They are homebodies, life is calm, safe, constant but wait for it.... until a few weeks ago when a boisterous visitor arrived for a short holiday! What was going on?! He was a doggy but very different from the kind they were used to, he was big, a busy chap, he barked and most of all he didn't know the golden rule "Kitties are not toys nor food!" Mom Monique Buys was doing her best to be a good host and Mom. A few close calls and a couple of weeks later, we were nearing the end, Hotel Transylvania was going to close as soon as the guest packed his suitcase but last Wednesday Oros simply disappeared! Mom searched the vast farmlands relentlessly, not a sight nor sound from Oros. Subsequently our guest had checked out but sadly Oros was still missing. I did a session yesterday afternoon, day 7. Oros was alive, not lost, just very upset and reluctant to return home. She was aware of Mom's searches but was deliberately hiding in the bushes and moving along the boundary. That was positive although I had my work cut out for me, I had to convince baby that it was safe, doggy boy was gone and we will never allow the kitties to feel uneasy in their home ever again. I apologised, made many promises and asked baby to call out, come out of hiding. A few hours later, Mom scaled the mapped out section, from just outside the boundary a meow was heard and a pretty face appeared. It was raining hard. Mom was ecstatic but then baby walked away... the scene was sorrowful. I told Mom to try again, she was playing a little hard to get and needed some cajoling. The rain paused and Mom went out again this time she returned with baby! All in one night, the 7 day nightmare ended. A towel dry, a yummy meal and baby was happy to be home again. Thank you for understanding and trusting us Oros. 🤗

The Star Pupil Award for the Week goes to... Ninja, Megan, Miepsie and Ashley! These 4 sisters have been rescued and integrated into our home over time by Mom Janine D'Alebout Gunner. Ninja 5 years of age, has always been our Queen Bee. Miepsie and Megan, litter sisters just under 2 years, joined the family as kittens and it was an adjustment for sure. Then little Ashley came in and the boat really began to rock! Well, 4 girls with unique personalities, strong and intelligent minds, set in their ways made an interesting concoction! Mom, went through all the pratical integration steps and gives them the best life everyday yet the kids hadn't quite found harmony. Weeing around the home, smacking sisters over the head, taunting, hiding away out of fear, made for a sad and troubled Mom. I had a session with all the girls 2 weeks ago to set some ground rules and request kindness in little ways that will help us get along better. See Mom's feedback here, more respect between the gals and more time for Mom to spend snuggling with her kids instead of cleaning up fooeey wee! What good babies you are! We are proud of you. Little Ashley, thank you for understanding how risky it is to jump into the neighbours cars and remembering that they may not always notice you, not every ride stops at HOME 😉. Great guidance on the ground Mom! ❤🏅

Baby Cleo from South Africa has been found! This 4 month old happy poppet has been living on an estate with her Mommy Alicia Prins and Dad since the last 2 months. She has access to the back garden, away from the front roads of the estate. On Wednesday evening she was playing up a storm as usual, running inside and then to her secured back yard. A moment later Dad called out to his baby, it was time to go to bed but she had simply vanished! They searched the home inside and out, no sound, no peekaboo face peeping out from any hidey hole, the panic set in whilst trying to make sense of this! She never tried to jump through the electric fence on top of the high wall before either. This afternoon, day 3, I connected with a scared Cleo who explained that she jumped whilst playing without thinking and suddenly landed in a completely strange world! I traced her movements going through that electric fence, out onto the road at the back of the estate! Luckily there was a pavement with bushes that she could hide in. I narrowed the section of the road down. She couldn't get to the neighbouring units from hers but I told baby to jump back in if she could even if she ended up in a neighbouring unit. At least then she would be safe away from the road and can call for help. 30 minutes after listening to the feedback, Mom and Dad were on the outside of that wall and Cleo just jumped back into a neighbours unit and called out to Mommy! She did exactly as asked, smart baby! In moments, this 3 day nightmare was over, our family is together again. Good job! This could have so easily taken an awful turn, that busy road, open landscapes, kitten lost in that world, thank goodness she had the sense to stay close. What a relief! Successful find #391 Please love and share!

Mushie from South Africa is home! This 9 year old gentle boy lives with his parents and 3 kitty siblings in Cape Town. At night the kids sleep inside since the neighbourhood is a busy built-up one with many streets, homes back to back, main roads close by. On Monday evening, Mushie, had his dinner but was eyeing Mom's plate, hoping food would fall off by mistake. Nothing unusual, he soon went out to strectch his legs before the doors close up for sleepy time. The other kitties came in but Mushie didn't turn up. This was very strange, his parents waited up, searched the streets from that same night, not even a peep. Yesterday, day 3 Mom Jane Hollander requested a tracking. Boy was alive, something silly caused him go out of his normal territory and it felt as if he wanted to make his way back but couldn't. I told Mom to listen out from inside garages as well as the open areas. He simply needed help to get going. I made a deal with Mushie that if he called out loudly to help us find him, he would get his OWN PLATE of Mommy-food for being so brave! Last night Mr began calling loudly when he heard Mom's voice, he couldn't get off a roof on the next street! He was safe in Mom's arms after some coaxing and guess who won the Dinner Plate Prize for bravery last night!?! 🍗 Amazing team effort baby and parents. 👌

The Star Pupil Award for the week goes to Ek-Kho and Charlii! These 2 babies were so brave for Mom Luné Naudé-Human and Dad. They went through the vet checks, long road and plane trips in their crates, cooperated with all the helpers, all the way from Free State, South Africa to the UAE. I had a chat with the kids last week to explain it all and reassured them that they would be seeing their parents and Grammy very soon and to please allow the kind strangers to help get them to their new home safely. Ek-Kho is 11 years old and baby sister Charlii just turned 3, both rescue kids. Mom was so tense that this would increase their anxiety and all the "what if's" were causing Mommy sleepless nights! They kissed Grandpa goodbye in SA and knew that they were not being abandoned. The girls supported one another and did just as Aunty Shonelle asked, remained safe, calm and healthy throughout. Now they are settling into their new home with loves and spoils from their parents! Good job girls!

Kitton from South Africa has been found! This 3 year old boy lives in Stanger with his human family and kitty brother Blondie. Last week baby injured his paw and Mom Shamima Manjra took him to the Ballito vet. He had a pin put in his leg and was on the mend. Mom went to fetch her baby on Monday and in the parking lot the cage door suddenly gave way and Kitton escaped into the adjacent bushes nowhere to be seen! Well how many times have I seen this scenario and it's such a freak thing even whilst all precautions are being taken. You can only imagine the panic and worry this family was going through since home is 25km north of Ballito! Logistical challenges didn't stop this family, extended family members also went searching everyday for this little guy that was still in recovery then lost in a completely strange and busy world after having been at a vet for many days and operated on, as if that was not traumatic enough. Yesterday, day 4, Mom reached out for a tracking. Kitton was alive, confused of course and terrified of even his own thoughts. I traced his movements to the adjacent properties and a road across from the vet. I explained the last week to him, that Mom took him to the vet only to help him and that he needed to show himself to them so he can be taken back home and life can be whole and safe again. I gave him options to ask for help from people there as well. Whichever way it pans out baby, we just need you in our arms again. Last night the family did great groundwork. Today, Mommy spotted her baby waiting for her just across the vet driveway and he trusted Mom's pleas and came out to her. What a brave darling! He listened, he understood that he was not abandoned and that he needed to show himself and help us find him. Tonight this family can rest peacefully together and boy can heal from his injury and his excursion by the sea! Good job family. I knew we would get him back safe!

Thomas from South Africa has been found! This 12 year old baby lives with his family in Johannesburg. Boy went to see Mr Vet on Tuesday to help with an ear inflammation. Mom Pia Marangoni held his paw, he was a Champ, got an injection, slapped a cone on and off they went back home where he ate and lay down calmly. Mom popped out quickly after her baby fell asleep but on her return someone was simply gone! 3 days of turning the home up side down, searching the roof, inside and outside, calling wondering if he actually managed to get out of our property, it was unreal, the panic was escalating. I did a tracking this evening and what do you know... someone was still within his property boundary from what I gauged and I told Mom to double check everywhere but most importantly, check inside the roof again. I explained the vet visit to baby, I knew that at some point the cone may have got nicked on a piece of furniture or something and he got spooked by it, thinking it was a monster around his neck! I told him that it was just a pesky piece of plastic and Mom promised to take it off as soon as we found him but.... he needed to call out and help us find him. It was a deal! He began calling whilst Mom was listening to my feedback and guess what... Mr was in the roof all along! The cone is history as promised and he is being covered in kisses for being so smart and keeping his side of the deal! Good job honey boy. No more cone so no more Houdini tricks!

Popeye from London is home! This 4 year old explorer lives with his Mom Lucy Wilkinson, Dad and kitty sister Olive. He visits the neighbourhood but always returns home for his food and snuggle time with Olive. His parents went for a short holiday and some kind friends were taking care of the home however they never saw Popeye at all. His parents arrived home to panic and worry, this was not like Popeye. I did a session on day 9, traced his movements to a huge park garden where he exited on the wrong side and from there it all went horribly wrong! He needed guidance, his tinned spinach had run out! He did not go looking for his parents but it was more of a case of "when the cat is away the mouse will play", taking liberties! I told him that his parents were back home and he needed to ask for help from kind people so they can call Mom. Of course Mr crossed over the main bus route just across from the mapped out area, possibly waiting to catch the bus that was marked "HOME"! Day 2 after the session Mom got a call from a kind person that took notice of Popeye and he was chauffeur driven home yesterday since the bus never turned up. 🙈 Home safe, lots of sleep and stories to tell Olive, all is well again in our home. Well done to them all.

Pickle from England is home! This year and a half, skittish little boy was last seen at his home on Sunday night. He lives in Worcestershire, a beautiful country side with huge greenery to explore. He has his Mommy Angela Barlow, Dad, human brother and sister, doggy and kitty siblings too. He is a gentle boy, easily spooked. Mom reached out for a session since Pickle was nowhere to be found, the weather is hot there and boy's sister and brother have been incredibly upset ever since. I jumped into this session at dawn this morning, he was definitely lost, the mapwork pointed to the neighbouring large property, although he had heard his family's calls Pickle remained frozen in fear, waiting for them to get to him. I told this kid that he is smarter than that! He needed to switch on that engine and put pedal to the metal! His siblings were crying for him for the last 4 days and it was not safe to be out alone. I sent Mom the feedback and an hour later Pickle arrived at his door ready for breakfast! He promised Aunty Shonelle that he was going to try harder and he did just that! All the tears have turned to squeals of joy and our kids are back together again. Good job little guy! 💪😊

Asha from Scotland is home! This gorgeous gal had joined her new home just 2 months ago, she settled in easily, giving and receiving affection from her parents and kitty sibling. She is an indoor baby in a picturesque part of Glasgow, where the neighbourhood has a huge forest area on one side. The rows of homes each have a lock up garage. Well on the night of 11 May a sneaky little somebody slipped out to explore the neighbourhood unbeknownst to Mom Elise Bruce! That very night the search began, Mom walked miles calling, asking around, frantic with worry. I did a session on day 4, Asha was alive, clearly lost and confused but the sense of being closed inside somewhere was evident. I knew that baby was within a certain section closeby. I asked Mom to alert the neighbours when opening their garages in case baby ran out at any point and still cover the outside area should she get out again before we got to her. After all she is a living, moving kid out there, very skittish. I explained to Asha that she needed to be back home in time to celebrate her second birthday with her family! Mom focussed on the map out area and 6 days later, a pretty parcel was spotted hiding in long grass just two doors away! She got out and came closer through Mom's guidance. Although she was so close, she was clearly overwhelmed and needed Mommy to carry her home whilst she said "Sorry for the worry" and "I love you Mom." So the birthday invitations have been sent out for 26 May and huge celebrations are in order! Well done Mom and baby! 🫶🏼
