Animal Kingdom Est. 92
We are a family run business with over 35 years of experience in the pet industry. We have pioneered the retail market in South Africa, having had South Africa’s first ever Mega Retail Pet Shop.
Animal Kingdom was established in Randburg in 1992. It didn’t take us long to build a name for ourselves due to having the widest selection of fish, animals, and accessories available to the South African market.
As times changed, we came to the decision to open two new stores in two different locations to share with a wider public what a pet shop experience should feel like. In 2015 we decided that it was time to increase the Animal Kingdom footprint still further, and our Blue Hills store was born. We now have three stores across Gauteng; in Pretoria, Hillfox and Midrand, and it’s our pleasure to be able to offer our customers the greatest pet products and service available in our country.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality fish, reptiles, birds and small animals along with the widest selection of equipment and accessories for animal lovers and hobbyists alike.
