Alert Canine International (ACI) is a dog breeding and training academy specialising in security services. Ellis has an B.Sc Degree (Chemistry and Physics) as well as B.Sc CHEM (HONS) in Chemistry obtained from the University of Pretoria. He has been involved in various aspects of animal breeding and training over 50 years. Ellis is also the co-owner of MMC

Racing Pigeon Lofts where a high premium was put on bloodlines and breeding for genetic improvement. He has been involved in various trails regarding nutrition and nutrient gene interactions and the direct effects on the carcass composition and muscle mass. The Loft's successes are evident and they won multiple trophies which serves as evidence that Mr. Ellis dedication and scientific approach to understand the molecular interactions and harnessing genetic potential. Alert Canine International's goal in today's world, is to breed for genetic improvement in dogs and provide the best services we possibly can for those people who are faced with a unique set of challenges.
