We believe that we are by working with other organizations. Paarl Doenit brought in 4 dogs and not only did Cat Trapping in the Winelands bring in cats to be sterilized but also took in 3 tiny baby kittens that were rescued on a farm

Today we had our 1st of 2-day-spayathon. Thank you Vetsol who sterilized 27 farm dogs and cats and a HUGE thank you to Glen Lorain from Tassie with Love who sponsored the day! Without you guys this would have been impossible!

‼️☢️CANINE PARVOVIROUS!!

Over the past two weeks we have experienced a rapid increase of puppies presenting with Canine Parvovirus. Symptoms include loss of appetite fever, weakness and severe Diarrhea that may contain blood. It is a very cruel disease and is often fatal. The only way to prevent this is to ensure that puppies are vaccinated.

Parvo in puppies is caused by the canine parvovirus. This virus is highly contagious and spreads through direct contact with an infected dog or by indirect contact with a contaminated object. Your puppy is exposed to the parvovirus every time he sniffs, licks, or consumes infected faeces. Indirect transmission occurs when a person who has recently been exposed to an infected dog touches your puppy, or when a puppy encounters a contaminated object, like a food or water bowl, collars and leashes, and the hands and clothing of people who handle infected dogs.

Please make use of our Mobile Outreach Clinics for prevention and help.
Early prevention, is much better than heartbreak later.
