The clinic was founded in 1982 and is now owned and run by Dr Denver Mudie.

The clinic is located in the heart of Gallo Manor on the corner of Bowling Ave and Kelvin Drive. The entrance is via Letaba Ave, through the boom gates opposite the police station. A warm atmosphere and a friendly, well trained team make you feel right at home from your first step into our practice. We provide separate hospitalisation facilities for cats to reduce any unnecessary stress. We also o

ffer boarding facilities for your cats , furnished with custom made luxury cat condos both in the cattery and boarding facilities.

Rocket came in as a very small stray kitten who was found in a storm drain 🐱 He was covered in fleas and very underweight. We all immediately fell in love with him and wanted him to recover well. We decided to keep him at the vet until he got his weight up and became as healthy as he can be. He befriended another kitten at the vet, and while they were playing, we could see little Rocket's personality shine through. He has a beautiful yet mischievous temperament. 😁

As time went by and he started to grow, we noticed a rocket ship 🚀 shape marking on his nose, and while he was playing, he would zoom and rocket around the practice. That's when we decided to call him Rocket. 😊

Even as a kitten, he loved greeting people and watching all the pets visiting our practice. Our hearts knew that the best home for Rocket would be here at Manorswood Vet, as he not only found his place within the practice, but also in our hearts. ❤️

He grew into his full-time position as head of security 👮‍♂️ and door greeter. 👋 He assists with talking to other pets and lets them know that their visit to the vet is gonna be okay. 🐾 He is also a desk helper and a professional napper in any place he can fit himself into. 😴 He loves tickles and getting all the attention from visitors. 🥰

Meet our lovely receptionist Shené, who joined Manorswood Veterinary Clinic in May 2022.🐾💙

Her love for her 12-year-old Yorkie, Buddy, is evident as she shares stories of his mischievous nature, a fond laugh escaping her as she thinks of him at home.
