Hallo and welcome to JABO African Boerboel Dog Breeders. My father, Jan Booysen, retired teacher, school principal and assessor member at the court of law began breeding with Boerboels in 2000. I, Retha Booysen, joined him in 2008. We are situated in Nelspruit, about 340 kilometres east of Pretoria, in the Mpumalanga Province of South Africa. The Boerboel is an extraordinary dog breed. We are a member of the SABBS (South African Boerboel Breeders Society)(previously SABT) All our dogs are carefully and strictly selected for temperament, conformation, movement, size, general health and bloodlines. With Appraising, all our breeding dogs achieved 80% and more. We take pride in and effort to breed good Boerboels with a impecable temperament. To bring/welcome a Boerboel in your home, will bring you joy, love and laughter. To be the owner of a Boerboel also brings responsibility. Remember that for its entire life, he/she will be dependant on you for love, exercise, food, dissiplined behaviour, health, medical expences and safety. We hope that you will enjoy our page.
